That first pic where Typhus is staring down the lens is great, he certainly looks like the lean mean killing machine the his new profile describes him to as, well done!

Epic beyond reason, and I'm ashamed to admit it, but I -must- steal this idea! I miss the extra limbs, though; I guess I'll just have to keep them on mine! Also, mind linking me to a site where I can get the tool you use to make your cables?

This is such an inspiring blog: you are a legend. I can't wait to see Pandemion when he's painted.

Go ahead an nick it - that's the point of this blog anyway - to inspire people to do their own stuff. Please post a pic when you've done him.
Absolutely brilliant, GuitaRasmus! As usual, I might add. Could you please build something that looks really gakky for a change, to make us all feel a little better? On second thought: Don't do that!
One thing though: While this guy looks great, the points of contact between the torso and arms look a little spindly and could use bulking out a little: either by using GS or by adding a suitable bit. My suggestion would be the awesome chain-cloak that comes with the Chaos Lord on Manticore: Adding some of those chains to the model's shoulders on both sides should help to obscure the rather thin joints and solve the problem with the silhouette. I am quite confident you'll come up with a fantastic solutiion, though

Wow, I really love the new Typhus (and everything else in this blog)!
I do feel like he could be a bit "bulkier" at the joints though (and I miss the big termite-stack/Destroyer Hive thing that your other Typhus was sporting ).
Either way, top notch work! This is how Chaos should look!

Such a characterful Typhus mini. Wow! Amazing use of bits there mate, I love it.
there's only one thing I'd like to point out... the head... I think I'd have used a more unique one. The one you've got has this "rank and file"-feel to it, being only a common SM helmet.

I miss them a bit too, but I'm not too keen on ripping them off the first version as I only have one pair of the vents, and no bits site seem to have them.

I know what you mean. I quite like this helmet, but a more unique one would be awesome. Any suggestions? I've looked around a lot.

To be honest one of the most distinguishing things about Typhus is his helm - have you looked at using an older style helm, say Mk 3 or Mk 2 or even a WFB Chaos Warrior helm to get that 'bucket' feel? The one you've got there...odd as it sounds...conveys too much emotion. And I always saw Typhus as being a rather cold and emotionless figure to face, simply because the helmet gave nothing away - even the Mk 5 to Mk 7 helmets seem to have a bit too much 'face' to them.
And Typhus should really be a faceless killer, much like the diseases he brings along...
Now only a CSM player.

I have to agree with DarkstarSabre, although this isn't typhus, just a counts as, but I feel like he should have a less emotional helmet, I don't enjoy the "teeth" in the mouth piece

Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead,
Together with our hellish hate,
We'll burn you all--That is your fate!

I agree with you - the head wasn't completely up to spec. It's a great head, by any measure, but I just wasn't feeling it, so I gave it another shot - this one, I'm in love with. It's based on a plaguebearer head with some greenstuff and a big horn:
The galaxy trembles and a name is whispered... Pandemion.
I like the new head, especially as it appears without eyes, while I was also a fan of the previous one I think this head sets him apart just enough to really be something great, I can't wait to see paint on him, that will really amazing then!

I would think about maybe adding some stitching or something to make it stand out a little more and give it some more character. Maybe make it look like Leather Face's mask from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Give him one, single, eye hole hidden beneath a mask made from the flayed skin of those ravaged by the Strain. Right now it looks like a face plate and looks rather flat and plain when compared to the rest of the model.
I think some more detail on the mask would give it a lot of character and menace.
