I'm thinking the gaps towards the back of the head will become the eyes. From the side it would look more in line with the Forgeworld one. Quickly knocked together a shoulder plate and upper arm cover.

Loving the Titan.

I would suggest tweaking the Chainsaw, perhaps making it look like it's "underslung" under the forearm, which needs beefing up a bit.

What have you got in mind for the other arm?

Squigsquasher, I honestly have pretty much no idea what Im doing for the other arm. Im thinking maybe some kinda vulcan mega bolter type thingy.

I was thinking of going for the underslung look as well for the chainsaw at the moment its just tacked on where it attaches on the stompa and yeah the forearm definitley needs beefing up.

Bibblles, thanks for the suggestion but Im aiming to avoid the bioorganic look on this guy. Maybe on the next one..........

Whats the thoughts on mounting the chainsaw like this rather than the original way?

Also a couple of random detail shots to show where bits have been reused. The grille at the front of the SR torso is from the centre of the Land Raider powerplant, the pistons on the hips are from the back of defiler legs, the cables at the same point are from the Lascannons that were used to build the legs.

I definitely like your take on the chainsaw. Though it's a shame it's not just a bit bigger.

Regardless, this project remains amazing!

The original was better with the sword at this length, because it look like it could actually reach something.
The second pose is more aestheticly pleasing, but less practical at that length, if you got a second sword and doubled the length of the blade it would solve the reach problem and look bad ass.

The saw looks good, but it needs to be longer. Perhaps you could try mounting it further forward on the arm?

Thanks for the feedback guys, the saw is actually mounted in pretty much the same place as before but I flipped the arm so the longest part is at the top now. That may be whats causing it to look like it is a bit smaller. I think the defiler plate bit on the saw itself doesnt help the illusion. Im going to look into rebuilding the powerplant part of the saw and look at different mount point. If I move the saw forward it really upsets the balance of the model.

With so many other projects I should be working on I decided tonight before getting ready for work that while randomly rummaging through my bitsbox that I would start another project!

This was built using only the extra bits I have kicking around from the Gorehound. Obviously its nowhere near finished (nothing of mine ever is :p) The legs need beefing up a little but I like it so far.

Also, for the Gorehound's other arm I suggest either a Volcano Cannon or a giant clawed fist.

I'm not sure what it'll run as possibly a Decimator if that's possible.

You know, unless it completely offends your Khornate sensibilities, that smaller walker is looking very Slaaneshi to me. Leave the legs thin, keep the whole thing all lithe and menacing.

It's a super heavy class weapon, the main gun on the shadowsword, iirc. Check eBay, I got one there for £3.50 for my Valdor project.

Basic structure done.
Got home from work about an hour ago and did a little glueing on the Gorehound and BloodStalker. Not a monumental update as everything pretty much looks as it was except now it doesn't move

Now I'm gonna get some sleep lol

Thanks Rawson, Im still not sure, looking at the FW Warhound Im thinking I could maybe try and knock together a Vulcan Mega bolter or an Inferno cannon.....or maybe a Plasma blastgun lol. I think Ill just throw bits of plastic together and see what it looks like

I magnetised the torso and leg section of the Stalker, I also added some pipes/cables to the head.

That Stalker is simply great, buddy! Extra kudos for the very inspired use of the Stonehorn head!

Seeing the rate at which the model's taking shape, you should maybe think about taking commissions

Thanks a lot for the compliment Kraut but I dont think Im anywhere near being able to take commisions.

Rawson, here are a couple more closeups of the head. Its made using a Defiler Battlecannon mount (minus the cannon itself) Two Termi teleport beacons and a head from the WHFB Ogre Kingdoms Stonehorn kit. Ive wanted to use the head for ages, I bought it to use on the Gorehound then realised the scale was all wrong. It never actually occured to me to build a smaller walker lol.

I magnetised the neck section but unfortunatley due to where I mounted the magnet the head sits a lot more upright now, I still think it looks like its stalking across the battlefield though. I just need to sort out some proper weapon options for it and GS the gaps then it sonto paint.

This is way more what I dreamed the demon engines would look like: much more of a blend of organic and mechanic. I like it! I imagine with your "no GS" policy, we won't see any other organics on the bloodstalker
