I got one of Zinge's Taurox improvement kits. I like it.

Along with the Zinge order, came his Modular Buggy. I REALLY fethed up the tubular construction, badly, so I've got a LOT of filler and sanding work to do. What do you think? It should have some armor plates added? I don't want to lose the cool tubular look though, even if it doesn't have much protection.

That buggy looks awesome. I think it needs armor plates, just makes sense on a military vehicle. I like the extra grippy tires. I forgot that it was in development, I don't think I ever saw a completed version of it.

just a naked cage vehicle...does the term chocolate kettle mean anything to you?...

well...some armor plates would be needed if it it is an army vehicle of yon catachans...if it´s just a build for building sake, then make it look like a lunar vehicle^^

I got to be honest. The front bumper is just so huge it makes everything else look funny. Will you be making wheel wells over the shocks. It could be a great place for weapons or storage.

I have new stuff I've never started, Malifaux, Infinity, Wild West Exodus, DUST, and that set of Zombie Rules. I have a metric sheiteton of Zombicide. I dont NEED anything. But GenCon is coming up. We're pretty excited.

I've thought long and hard about the wheel wells. I dont think so, unless, when I'm done with the body, it just needs something else added. We'll see.

Everyone needs zombicide. It is a happy necessity. Just wish we could convince my wife to try it, but ever since she saw the zombie strippers .

I think the problem with the model is the very wide build...usually vehicles are longer than wide...but this one is an exception...wheel wells would further make it look even wider...

Taurox is fantastic, amazing how a few changes make all the difference to that kit.

Buggy is looking great, I would go the old Delta force route on it myself, lots of bags and stowage, as a light scout vehicle should be, maybe a row of spotlights. But probably too late to the party, you will be done by now.

Thanks guys! Yeah Cam, exactly, the military sandrails have another set of pipes over the engine in back, typically the driver's bucket is wider, so this'll definitely full the role of Armored Cavalry scout.

We've got rivets! So now it looks liek something right out of 1983


The wheels are glued on the right way, with the Zinge logos out, however I DID glue the front axle on backwards, so the steering linkage is on the wrong side, don't tell Zinge (he didnt send me one of his instruction sheets, I had to build it from pictures on his site) and there is more stowage added than what is seen here. I'll add the weapons AFTER the crew is painted and glued in place.
It's also been primed black and sprayed the usual green, but seeing as how only about 3 of you are interested, I didn't take pics

What weapon options did it come with/ or are you adding something dave built.

It came with His version of a Twin-linked autocannon with drum mags, but I think I'll be adding an Autocannon on top, with a heavy stubber for the driver. Not exactly sure yet. I like the idea of a .50 cal on top and an M60 for the driver.

It's looking fantastic, a real rigged dune buggy. I like the changes you've made to the front end. Any plans for the driver? What were you thinking colour scheme wise?

@scarper - the driver is just a standard Catachan with the flowing bandana. His only modification being a disc of plastic between his legs and torso to make him sit slightly taller. The Gunner will be standing in the back.

Hmm, Buggy could have a harnessed gunner standing with a pintle-mount heavy weapon? Not sure what you were going with for it.

Heh @MN- yeah, ZInge's modular block is a little small. It's too bad he didn't incorporate his big engine into this kit, although I have a spare of his big block, didnt even try to use it.
