That Zinge conversion kit is great - reminds me though that I need to get back to my Taurox 6x6 conversion...
Buggy is interesting, although there's something bugging (no pun intended) me about it but I can't figure out what it is at the moment - possibly the oversized tyres?? I'm sure though it'll work out though once you're done

You've got to religiously clean them, but I still use my first Series 7, It's more than 10 years old. The Gold letters are all worn off, but the point is still pristine

Do you have any special technique to clean them? I've recently started using a few series 7s and I'm super paranoid about paint going in the ferrule. They're amazing brushes but also expensive enough that I'm not sure I can justify replacing them!

@scarper They say, never get paint that far up, but those are the same people who dont know how to drill and pin - I have 2 pots of water at the paint bench, dirt and less dirty, then when I'm done paitning and cleaning up for the session, first a scrub in pink soap, then Master's Brush cleaner, always reform the tip, and just store them flat. I've had more problems from them betting dirty from airbrush overspray nearby than paint in the ferrule.

@theo - Dude, I'm totally going to do that! Great Idea!
Meh, this one will be glued shut, no big deal, it'll just sit at a table corner shooting until it dies anyway.
The Gap in the front was so atrocious, I blessed it with holy rivets to hide it's shame from the world
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Then a little square rod as a step-down plate
And I had to build the rear hinges completely and join them with the hydraulic arm.
Now there's a ton of putty work to do, but not nearly as much if I'd kept that gap. I would've ended up sanding the rivets off in the process.

one tech priest using metric the other using standard imperial measurements.
Right under the barrel is always a nice spot for sandbags too though that would cover the Holy Rivet.

It's interesting since it's a conversion kitted out, but I've never liked the design of the Taurox from GW. The gun change has helped a lot, but as most GW vehicles look like tanka trucks(and not in a good way), I've just never been endeared to the model.
