Yeah, I don't know if that seller is really confused or just willing to wait for someone clueless enough to pay their prices. They've had a whole set of that stuff up at ridiculous prices for months now while identical models have been available at much lower prices.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

If you think that's crazy, there's one eBay seller that keeps listing models that are still in production, but charging well over retail for them. Here's one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Warhammer-40K-Ork-Stompa-Titan-Apocalypse-New-Sealed-/290917130923?pt=Games_US&hash=item43bc0322ab $230 for a stompa you can still buy from GW for literally half as much.

And not surprisingly, it doesn't seem as if they've sold any 40k stuff in quite a while judging from their feedback.

Though the use of advance casting techniques there is a possibility of air bubbles which can easily be fixed with modeling putty.

What I find most intriguing about this is that the seller is from Greece, but won't ship to Greece.

Yeah. I noticed that.
I suspect it has something to do with the fact that he KNOWS he is doing something wrong, OR IS GOING TO, and doesn't want to have to deal with someone who can just hop into a car and explain their displeasure IN PERSON.

That company has arbitrary pricing. They have still in production lego sets marked up 300%.

Their lego prices are far more laughable than their GW stuff.

I did just message him. I didnt mention price gouging but did mention that people can still buy this kit from the manufactor for $50 so they may wish to recheck their prices.

Selling at almost 3x GW prices is their call but if your trying to put food on the table by selling on EBAY.......

I don't know what you guys are talking about. When I bought the limited... Iron Star (?) Novellas from the Black Library, I had people bidding them up over $90 US a copy, and that's before shipping!

This does not seem so crazy to me, with that in mind.
