This seller has some decent deals (got 3 Space Wolves packs for the price of 2), but if you're going to be recasting then don't make it obvious by recasting metal models in resin...

That model did come on metal sprues in the package because of the options. I still think you're right and it's a recast, but it could just be the metal sprue version.

Maybe, it looks like its a resin model though to me. The chainsword also looks somewhat miscast.

The extra tab ON the canoness' tab is a clear sign of recaster. Not to mention the extras all come on one sprue and don't have gates/tabs like that.

They're almost definitely recasts, and they're massively overcharging for them.
Not that I have any idea what Chinese recasts typically cost.

I don't see how that Tau ship is a folly: it's a beautiful conversion. Seeing how its 45 pounds now, I'd say that's a fair price. That's what, $75 or so? Not such a bad thing for a good paint job, a solid conversion and obvious time and love. That definitely doesn't belong in this thread, except to show it off.

might want to rethink that..... after all that heavy Bolter looks a lot like a plasma cannon. might want to see if they will lower the price to 34 dollars......

I painted better than that when I first started, and mine occasionally had grey plastic showing underneath. Wow, that's terribad. I can't even find words in the proper English language to describe how awful it is. The worst part is he could probably get better, but thinks that these awful jobs are good, and he's charging 3-20x what the models are worth, when they'd be an embarrassment to put on the table.
