I used to buy Seekers at an exorbitant price ($20 each I think) when I was building my Slaanesh chariots (back when Daemons were new to the scene).

Does anyone wonder if auctions like these are actually GW and not just recasts? The seller's entire stock is new on sprue stuff and without the box. How could there be that big of a demand for just boxes? Just sounds like you're not actually getting a GW product and instead getting a lie.

Could be to both save on shipping and make identifying the source of the product harder in the event they are violating their "screw the customer" GW trade agreement.

OMG, tell me you guys read the description of the auction:
ebay Seller wrote:This is a limited edition custom made WARNUT. My friend ensures me you can play with this piece as long as you agree what it is before you start playing. Made from a real 100% walnut. It still has its nutty goodness inside!
Put fear into the hearts of your opponents when you release the mighty WARNUT!
This item has been custom painted and base was made from 'Green Stuff'.
Bio
Where WARNUTS are concerned, they can rarely die or run away. With armour harder to break into then steel itself they are formidable opponents. They are halfway decent shots, but the fact they have no eyes makes them awful in hand to hand combat. They are poor and often unwilling fighters, but make good shields.
Backstory
Goblins being scavengers often took to the trees in search of walnuts and their nutty goodness. The nuts filled their rage and gave them the energy to storm the enemy. Walnuts having the ability to boost brain power, gave the goblins the ability to use machinery and weapons. Before they found the nuts they used small sticks and rocks to attack each other.
Through the process of evolution the mighty WARNUTS became self aware and dropped on the goblins from a height killing thousands as they scuttled up the trees in search for food. As they rolled along the battlefield they gathered weapons, armoury and battle experience. Keeping their brains safely locked away in their bullet proof shells makes the WARNUT not only a intellectual opponent but a dangerous one.
Should be GW's new mascot. Games Workshop: "Our prices are nuts!"

I got one, not as good as everyones else, but still a 200% markup on retail, it's a Necron Catacomb Command Barge / Annihilation Barge going for £46.90 when the model of the GW site is £22.50. But hey, least the seller is giving free P&P...

Guy sure feels that merely mentioning Juan Diaz makes it 3 times the value!
He's being greedy, but not overly so. I'm chasing down metal Seekers and they're listed for $20-$25 apeice at the moment. Metal Daemonettes go $5-$10 apiece. Taking the high end of those price ranges you get pretty close to the asking price. If he went for 20% less they might sell.
(Also if anyone has metal 6th edition Juan Diaz Seekers of Slaanesh, i'll buy at $10 each )
