Making it very hard to hold out for the beastmen!! Really great work vic!
Will the Penal Guard squad bits be available as separate bits in the future?

Also, got my last order in today. Love the resin legs. Better in RL than I could of hoped for. Everything looks fantastic!

You mentioned you're working with a US caster. Does that mean newer kits are being made and shipped from the US, or are they still being made and shipped from the land down under?

Not a big deal either way, your stuff always ships so fast considering you're on the opposite side of the planet

Wow, gonna get some of those I can tell you right now! they are simply brilliant and great to have a source of alternate models for when GW finally cheeses us off so much we legitimately stop buying from them! you are doing such nice work Vic and i've just been waiting for resin to drop from you! now I can sleep well knowing you are in control of making some of the nicest 3rd party mini's out there!

To be honest I am trying to use independents for all my miniature needs now, Vic has filled a massive gap in the market and bloody quickly without letting quality or design suffer for it.

So to Vic HIP HIP HOORAY HIP HIP HOORAY

Thank you for being so dam awesome

Just caught this! vic, Viktor is 1000% correct on this. Hell, if you started writing rules, went in with Anvil (for the Space Marines side) and found someone to make other races, we'd be saying GW who?!?!?

Those penal guard are awesome. I wish I played IG!

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

Be careful, next thing you know you'll have 150+ infantry and 15+armored vehicles of various types.

Also, while we're dreaming of the 40 hostile takeover, I vote Kromlech for our ork developer. They're basically vic, but for orks.

As cool as they look, I must admit, I'm not a huge resin fan.

I'm rather paranoid about damage, so while I love the metal casts, especially how detailed they are, i always pause when looking at resin. Small resin details are awfully prone to breaking at the slightest provocation, so while the extra detail possible via resin is awesome (and I'll certainly get bits in resin, things which won't suffer from the materiel's weakness), whole models leave me somewhat apprehensive. It's the reason I never went for a DKoK army from FW (that, and they're bleedingly expensive).

At any rate, I'm interested in where you take this line of production; I love the bits I got from you a few days ago, makes GW cadians look downright shabby (and horribly proportioned).

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

ha ha! I'm away from this forum for a couple of days and you lot are planning to take over the world
Big thanks for the feedback on the penal guard.
I'll try to answer some questions:
At the moment they will still be shipping from Aus.
Yes, the bits will be available separately in the future (probably May)
Will also be making a custodian riot squad with shields based on the overseer with the helmet.
Yes resin can be fragile but it sure bounces a whole lot better than metal.
Bestman squad (metal) will be up soon. Limited advance sets at Adepticon, mail orders shipping in May.

Phew! I leave for the US in 6 days, things are crazy here at the moment with all the prep work. Better get on with it.

Can't wait for Adepticon, hopefully I'll pick up an advance order set or two from you!

Also, if I don't make champs, I'm signed up for one of your Friday painting classes, which I'm pretty pumped for - makes me not fret too much if I lose a game on thursday

Any chance, and not to try and pile to much work on for you, of having both male and female penal custodians?

And/or more importantly cybernetic canine constructs to accompany aforementioned penal custodians?.
