Thanks pongo50. I'm mostly intersted in general configuration. It can still look like a Taurox, but it really needs 6 wheels.

Edit to add:
That said, the Ratel Platoon would cover for a few Tauroxes nicely.

Valete,

They are with the caster now, probably a month off release, general purpose multi-fit pistol grip arms to follow.

Multi-purpose arms were the one thing really missing from the range, awesome to hear that they're on the way.

I wish they had finished the front end on the beast. It was suppose to have some optional grill fronts that never panned out.

Vic, can I ask what horses were used for the rough riders on the conversion kit page? http://victoriaminiatures.highwire.com/product/rough-rider-arms
I'm looking to make some chem-riders, but need a suitable horse supply before I invest.

They fit the plastic Empire pistolier horses, but I see a lot of conversions riding other things.

They're from the plastic Empire pistoliers/outriders kit I believe

I also used a box of Empire horses for my Rough Rider conversions, they're nice steeds, almost completely devoid of over the top decorative crap and fit the Rough Rider legs almost perfectly.

Box of Empire horses? Have you got a link?
I was hoping it wasn't pistoliers before, because then I get a load of pistoliers with my horses, and it costs more. A set of just horses is much more what I'm looking for

Back in the UK and hating it

I'm currently looking at offering some suitable horses through Great White Miniatures, (talking to sculptors at the moment) as I've got a load of Rough Riders and not so many Pistoleer horses. Obviously if we do go down this route we'll make sure that the horses fit well with Vic's cavalry legs.

Sorry, Pistoleer horses. Sure, I'm stuck with five blokes and a shedload of bits, but they sell well enough

Just a report on some info from earlier posts.

I got female heads from Statuesque Miniatures. I got the bareheads and the resistance heads with berets.

The bareheads are a leeeeeetle bit bigger than a normal 40K head.

the beret heads are child sized in comparison to 40K heads.

I'm hoping the bareheads look good on Vic's stuff....on normal 40K they barely pass muster, if you don't compare them close up to 40K unhelmeted head.

I was realllly disappointed in the beretheads being unusuable :(

The beret heads are not 28mm heroic scale.

Nope, but when you put product on the same page and no info on scale in the description, what is a buyer to assume?

Let's hope Vic does a range of female unhelmeted heads, with bare hair, hats, berets and helmets.

Andrew's shop page clearly states which are heroic scale and which aren't though.

I see where those lines are now, but I feel they could A. be better placed and B. product of different scale should not be grouped together with other product. I'll gladly point the figure at myself, as I'm used to items of a similar scale being grouped together and assumed all the heads were 28mm Heroic.

Hey, now anyone who reads this thread will know not to make the same error I did and not order the smaller heads.

And knowing is half the battle.

Hey Vic, noticed the heavy weapons accessories set is gone from the website. Are they being remade in resin or are they gone for good?

+1 to this as well.

Human waves of prisoner troops with a couple of human bombs in there for laughs. maybe a couple of female "guards" with shock mauls to give out the proper amount of "inspiration for the cause" when needed.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
