Er.... can you give us more detail? I'm not sure in what way these relate to things, like, is that a Knight lance, a rough rider/biker lance, or an Eldar style lance energy weapon?

Also, I'm going to say don't do bionics, unless they are done in a sort of Tech-faction kind of way (like Adeptus Mechanicus bionics, not Imperial Guard bionics). This is because I know of a couple of companies that produce good Guard-sized bionics already, and feel like you would be competing with them, whereas aiming the bionics at a not-thrall or not-servitor kind of angle would be more effective.

Power fist. There are far too many Power Sword options out there, not enough fisting by far.

The "APC Wheel and Suspension Kit" looks nice. They should do a wheeled conversion kit for the Chimera too. If they do, they should note that the new Chimera kit is a bit different than the old one, so far as the angle of the armor/sides are concerned, so it would be best to model it off of the new (i.e. available) Chimera kit.

You know what I would like to see? Some flags and standards. I love giving flags and standards to my guys but unfortunately there isn't enough diversity of flags available. I would lap these up!

A couple of different shapes and positions that you could freehand on? Might be doable.

My vote goes towards power fists.

As for flags/standards, I'd say go with flags. There's plenty of standards available from GW already.

I wouldn't mind seeing some voidsuit equipped troops at some point either.

My vote would go to bionics - various sizes. Oh and anything mechanicus related stuff you come up with

There are plenty available from GW already, but they're almost all faction specific and almost all of them require you to buy a full kit.

Now this I agree with! I want wheeled chimeras, but my own modeling skills are lacking, and the kit that is out there is unappealing with the angles being wrong and all the gaps.

I second the standards idea- getting hold of blank standards is a pain (seeing as only the one standard in the Cadian command squad doesn't have any Planet specific iconography) and being able to make your own standard for the various available regiments would be so useful!

Blank standards are just scary for terrible free-hand painters, and alas, few of us are good free-hand painters.

I suggest that as well as blank standards, Vic also produces variants with gently embossed generic designs to act as painting templates for us clumsy-fingered lot. Admittedly, the designs would need to be quite generic to avoid IP problems and avoid being too niche...

Going to agree with Clang here.

Standards wouldn't need much detail on them. A little bit of scroll work for names or designations. Maybe some kind of medieval heraldry type thing. A prancing lion or pheonix or something. Maybe even a winged skull just for old times sake.

Yeah, that makes sense. I shall amend my vote to be just a blank centre of the standard, so that you can insert icon of your choice into there.

If you took a GW Cadian standard, and removed the Cadian symbol from the front (and probably the Imperial Eagles for copyright purposes) then that would do the trick.

Regular kukri's are also welcome, they'd make for excellent accessories for the Van Diemen's World Devils.

Now this I agree with! I want wheeled chimeras, but my own modeling skills are lacking, and the kit that is out there is unappealing with the angles being wrong and all the gaps.

The other kit was apparently made for the old Chimera, which is why it doesn't work out well for those lacking modeling skills.

Standards are certainly a good idea, as most companies simply don't make them (or don't make decent ones). I would leave of the detail though, as even those who cannot paint free hand can still use decals to achieve a good look, and it still allow everyone else who can paint free hand to do exactly what they want. Of course *both* could be offered, as to make the textured one you have to make the blank one first anyways. Then everyone is happy (or about as happy as anyone can realistically/reasonably expect everyone to be).

Gah, for all that work, I may as well just design a newer, better APC or half track.

Please pester Vic incessantly so that this can happen.

Oh, and there's news about the Matilda as well!

Ah yes, the new tank pattern is always more than welcome, especially now that I'm working on a small Van Diemen's World Devils force.

But what about the arms?

They're taking a bath right now, to get cleaned up over the weekend, get primed, and then take a nice little coat of green.

I don't want this to happen.

I NEED this to happen.

My biggest issue right now going forward with my Guard is that no one company makes a set of 'matching' vehicles (that I like) that I can use for tanks, APCs and arty. I need Vic Minis to be that company.

Also, do we have any idea/ETA when the Arcadians might get updated with the more modern looking lasguns?

They're great models, but the very Martini-Henry style rifle just doesn't suit them the way it does Victorians and Tannenburgs.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.
