Empty universal Victorian arms are next on the bench.

There will be kilt RR's first.
I-bounty-hunt-the-elderly wrote:Will penal legion guard models be available to buy in person at salute? I may need about 50 sets of legs and torsos!

Sadly I can't attend Salute.
ChazSexington wrote:I've been playing with the idea of making another 35 Cultists or Renegade IG for my Alphas, but didn't want to use the GW IG kits (Can't be arsed filing away the aquilas and I've already got an IG army) or the GW Cultist kit (Already got 70 Cultists), nor do I fancy using the FW conversion as I don't feel they give the right feel. The greatcoat legs, trench raider torsos, shoulder pads, gasmask heads and some stubbers, and you've got some awesome Renegades!

Though a question - some of my Victoria mini IG are a bit tallet than GW IG, is this on purpose? And if so, are Victoria IG slightly taller on average? I'd rather not have Renegade militia taller than my Alpha Legion ;p

My IG pretty much split the difference between FW and GW plastics.

Tasmania.. Which way's Oregon from here again?

Hi y'all!

I'm back from my month long trip to the States, and what a time it was.

Just before Adepticon we were beset by a minor disaster - two pieces of the master exploded (literally) while the mould was being made.

That said, the disaster isn't completely bad, as it's given us the chance to do a few things.

After extensive conferences with several experts and celebrities in the hobby, we're going to make a few changes to the Matilda - don't worry, they're not changes to the looks, they're changes to reduce the part counts slightly and make it easier to build - currently it's clocking in around 90-100 parts.

Additionally, one or two of the detail parts I created, while looking amazing, are just slightly too thin to cast, so I can bulk them out slightly (we're talking less than half a millimeter worth of change) to give you a better experience that requires less puttying over potential holes in those pieces.

NONE of this will result in loss of options or fidelity, I assure you.

I'll be cracking on with that work in a few days, once the jet lag has subsided a bit.

... And of course working on some of the other ideas Victoria and I came up with at Adepticon.

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

Ave Imperator! Imperator, vitam aeternam!

So with the greatcoat legs out, and the "winter torsos" out, can we expect another "Regiment" added to the roster?

I'm really excited to see what the end result is; Vic has a talent for taking old GW concepts and doing something awesome (I still think the Van Diemens World Devil's as a Catachan replacement was brilliant) Ushankas or Pilotkas for a more Russian/Valhallan look, Adrian/Tin Hat helmets, maybe with gas masks as a more distinctly historical Death Korps equivalent, doesn't matter what I know I'll like it.

As I'm currently on a WW1 binge (just got back from Arras this weekend, there was an excellent exhibition on WW1 Archaeology and a photo series on display around the central square, along with the "usual" Vimy Ridge, Wellington Quarry, a bunch of British, Canadian, German, and ANZAC cemeteries, etc), I'm hoping for Adrians myself given the very French greatcoat legs, but if I'm really set on that Curious Constructs has sets of Adrian and Kepi heads available.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

I hate it when that happens, I've had things do that in the vacuum pot right in front of my eyes, or worse, a little bit of air escaped and it implodes when pressure is re-applied.

I'm really looking forward to picking up a matilda, I think it would fit very nicely in my guard.

After GW killed off Fantasy, my IG regiment has no models left to build itself from... So I'm basically waiting to see what you'll do next Vic.

Ok, I've got the email receipt, that means the Captain will be on my way at some point in the future right? (totally not at all paranoid... )

I had pre-filled my basket. Just had to throw in the captain and check out.
Logged in to paypall and noticed a $10 shipping charge.
That's how I noticed it wasn't in my basket anymore.
Guess it's back to scouring ebay for one.

Was looking over the site about 20 mins ago when I remembred this was happening...snagged a Torgo and some chem mask heads, but in the excitement forgot I could have got free shipping with a little extra in my basket. Oh well, could have been worse - could have placed an order without remembering Torgo was going up - that would have sucked,

Got my order in for both 2014 and 2015's models.

This is my first purchase from vic, and I'm really hoping to be wow-ed based on what I've seen in pictures of the models. Assuming everything is like it seems it should be, I can see a goodly chunk of female Tannenburg troops forming up a third IG force.

If there is I hope it doesn't take over from the FB presence, something I've seen in the past. I don't use Twitter.

Facebook is a better medium for sharing news IMHO, no restrictions on how long a post can be and loads of pics can be crammed into a single post as well.
