On the subject of movie soundtracks, here's one from my favourite soundtrack, to one of my favourite movies.

Guys, please be aware that there are more folk metal bands than the normal super-folk infused bands like Eluveitie and Tyr. Like these guys:



It's folk metal but with less of the folk and more of the metal, which has been missing in a lot of bands.

I quite like Tyr, although they are a little uneven. Primordial aren't bad either




Something a little more mainstream.

Folk metal is very, very silly indeed.

The version I'm listening to is better, but I can't find it on youtube, for some reason.

It's not silly in my opinion since a lot of bands sing about nationalist issues, history or mythology. Folk Punk - that's ridiculous.

Lots of music is daft if you actually listen to the lyrics. I do prefer the ones in Danish/Norwegian/Finnish though.

Celtic folk metal I think is awesome. Better than Scandinavian IMHO
