Back to listening to the This is England soundtrack when driving back from wargaming. I still say it would make a good soundtrack for a zombie apocalypse game.
I liked her first album, but was totally oblivious that she'd just released a second. Its not quite so good (meh it'll grow on me probably), but I liked this track.
Eugh, I've listened to this album way too many times. Given that each song has an average length of something like six minutes and there's a bunch of them, I don't know if that's a good thing. ...Or rather release another album mam so this silliness can end.
Hmn, I probably should see if she has any gigs on right now given she's based out of Glasgow for the moment...
*edit
And just after posting this I find out she's working on a new album.

I need to buy a new MP3 player. Sitting for forty minutes on a train everyday with pretentious prat music students is the sort of environment which needs something to drown it all out with. =P
That said most of train music is provided by Awaz FM. Shame I can't remember the names of any of the bhangra artists which that station pumps out between adverts for chilli and halal chicken. ...Perhaps its for the best that my Urdu is pretty limited.
"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001
I'm catching up on The Walking Dead ever since not watching it since the end of the first season. The songs that they include tend to be actually pretty good.
I mean it's not a revelation in terms of electronic music but it's nice to have a Calvin Harris track without some insipid lyrics. Top notch I say. Particularly looking forward to the remixes.
Not sure if I'd posted this before but it's one of my favourite songs. It's just so... poetic?
