Stunningly amazing. You're making everyone elses scratch building look like a random collection of pieces compared to this perfection.

Look forward to more!

Yeah, when I first saw this thread, I thought "wow, nice." After seeing your clones army, I am eagerly awaiting the end results of this thread.

Thanks!

Would need to learn how to cast first. But I am considering about casting them up one day. Going to finish this army first!

Sickeningly good sir, as per. I continue to be awestruck.

For the character in the white circle you could always use the Russian alphabet, valhallan themed etc. Then again it may be a little too obvious.

I'd keep it in the same style as the V on the sides... Maybe even the same V...

Eh...

Camkierhi - What a load of rubbish... Amazing!
Rogue Wolves - Its rediculous how much character you pack into those guys
Skalk Bloodaxe: I know those will be awesome when finished, but right now they look like crackers.

I would say go with the same font style but paint on a squadron designator or individual serial number. Great paint scheme going so far and the scratchbuilding is pretty damned awesome

Love the paint job.
Now that they have some color on them, the front end of the hull reminds me of a British bren carrier.

Last sunday we had our annual paint a model in 8 hours competition. Unfortunately the winner from last year couldn't be there.

Anyway on to the pics:

LIking this very much, does the number 1 mean you won? If so it was well deserved, Your red, like all your colours are beautifully smooth. Very envious!

If GW ever releases plastic Vostroyans I will be starting an Imperial guard army.

Anyway...I'm definitely subscribing here for the shear amount of skill you have to show off.

Hah! Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen. If GW would just drop the Catachans and revamped one of the metal ranges, like the Vostroyans or Steel legion. That would be something..
I guess plastic sisters are more likely to happen before that.

You definitly wouldn't be the only one!

BAN wrote:omg, with plasticard skills like that do you ever even have to buy a tank? lol

Not for this army.

Some years ago me and a guy were joking about Lucas Bastonne, that someone should model and paint a box of cookies from a famous brand here in the Netherlands, called:
Bastogne!

And that the model should be carrying a mini version of it!

Well, since this army will include a Lucas Bastonne. He is getting it!

Needs the white letters, and a better picture once finished:

And some more w.i.p shenanigans:

Been messing around with a press-mould. Here's the result:

All the tanks will be getting stars with a different colour as you could see on the first 2 chimera's.
These are the rest waiting to get some colour: (they are just square cut plasticcard. Saves me alot of time painting white squares )

And lastly. Some test numbers for the transports:

Cheers!
