This is a cool project, with an awesome build to boot! The artist reminds me of Quentin Blake's illustrations for Roald Dahl books - as an artist I'll be sure to check this out!

My first commission ever! Made a bigger armour plate for a lascannon turret, so that a Dark Angels ornament fitted right on it!

Started the Revamp with the bases, that I was never completely satisfied with. This is what they look like at the moment:



Little bit of liquid putty, fresh coat of Dheneb Stone and finally a Freehand. Here is what I'm up to so far:

Those are really really cool bases, look really good with the marine too!

The basing is superb! I like these freehands a lot. Really clean and neat. Nice one!

Uhm. A steady hand helps. And the good ol' practice ofcourse.
What might help is to rest your painting hand on something (the table you're sitting behind for example).
