Loving the scheme there! Mine will be painted in full camo colours, to match the surroundings of the diorama I'm considering making.

Also, the leaper will need no more greenstuffing than any other models I do lol

TY, I figured Nids are natural, so why not pick schemes from Nature herself?

I can see just the bras rods need cover, can't have a Mecha-Nid right?

Yeah that's my view on it too, with the addition of I find that a hyper evolved predator capable of breeding counters to specific threats would also be able to breed each creation with a colour scheme to match the prey world they descend to. As all information would be relayed to the hive mind via vanguard organisms.

It won't take much doing to gs the Lictor tbh, I'll have it done by the time the parts for its base arrives.

There is some nice poses they have modelled those Harlequins with. When you get your hands on them are you planning on doing any sort of conversion to them? Or leaving them as is?

As is, although for the Solitaire and other characters I may do weapon swaps etc for the special black library ones.

I tend not to convert the eldar infantry as I love the models and have no need to change them. With my bugs though I have to sculpt of every one of their eyes by extending the carapace over them. Its my own fault for wanting blind bugs

I would say so LDD, the latest Necron Overlord is plastic.....almost 30dollars worth! 30 bucks for a solitary infantry figure of plastic! I recall paying 30bucks for a Rhino kit a full large model for just 30bucks and now? a humanoid mini of such a price!

Though I despair at your intended use for them...

That is quite the dance of models there. I was expecting more of a release. Like bikes and tanks too.

This is just the week one release. Rumours state a four week release Inc codex, bikes and transport that has a hv option.

from what i have been reading there will be a 2 week release maybe 4 for an entire army for these guys, i might just get some to have them and run Dark Eldar allies lol

Heh, I sent my email off for the replacement dice, got an email back saying they would ship that day.... been well over a week now. If they don't show up today I'll get back in touch with them to see if they have been sent.

I love the replacements, so much better than what we got in the first instance. At least they are stepping up and replacing them though. Provided I get the new dice, I'm thinking I'll use the cruddy ones as wound counters on the MCs

Any progress on that tyranigon? Or have the laughing god troops got you distracted

Actually yes, funny you should ask that... maybe the hive minds kicking in there lol.

I've been using polymer clay to sort the petals out, and so far so good. Slightly disturbing mind, as the clay is quite a flesh like pink, and semi translucent... cant do much more work on it though due to still waiting on my damn parts I ordered. Maybe they'll be here tomorrow when I get back from the Gym.
