I started off as a Medic as well.

If you can get into a lit hospital (yellow, rather than grey squares indicate lit buildings), you can find a tonne of first aid kits, which can be a great source of XP.
I'd recommend getting the free-running skill 1st, then firearms training or diagnosis next. Guns only really become worthwhile when you can reliably hit stuff, until then knives and fire axes are probably your best weapons, as they're more reliable and don't run out, with attacking Zeds being a great source of XP. Diagnosis is great for knowing who actually needs healing, rather than just trial and error.

Thankfully, whilst slow at 1st, XP really snowballs after you get your 1st couple of skills and your character just becomes better at just doing stuff.

Well yeah...
Zombies are the bad guys.
If you don't want to get shot down get to a revive point and wait to get revived or just shrug it off and keep walking...

I am in the cemetary waiting to be revived

When you stand up undead, head to a revive point. You can find the nearest revive point by asking here or checking the wiki. In Chudleyton, the cemetary south of Saint Luke's is a well-established revive point.

Hey guys how well updated is the map on the wiki? Like the statuses of blocks and buildings?

It varies widely but tends to be way out of date.

I've been thinking I should try updating it when I see stuff, but I might leave it for a while...

What would you guys say is the fastest way to get XP? I started off as a Policeman. Also, what skills should I be after? Free Running and Advanced Pistol Training are looking pretty high on my list at the moment...

Well, after several days of solid reading I am up to 35xp

Yup, Kenefie's been breached, I took down two of 'em but didn't have the AP to finish the lot.

There are zombies in the police station?

Seem to have been sorted, recaded up to EHB.

2 zeds were in Kenefie, I dealt with them.
