Jah- Who is trying to revive Rackham? That would be very welcome... my friend (Wehrkind on here) has many of their models and they are incredible. It had to take some really bad business decisions (I'm pretty much aware of them, just saying) to go under with sculpts THAT good.

About Legendarion's stuff- yeah, I'll pass. I am ALL in favor of derivative works, but making exact models of other artist's sketches is not something I'm a fan of... voting with my wallet, of course, I'm sure he doesn't care what I think.

100% of argument about IP is irrelevant to a news and rumors thread.

Awesome stuff! RiTides is right, I have a HUGE soft spot for the old Rackham look, and these snuggle right up against it

I really like the idea for the business model too; Jin and I might have to come up with some good stuff to toss your way

I don't care what you got to say about armchair nothing pal. This guy took art from confrontation artist not belonging to him in anyway sculpted it without changing Jack and is selling it...

its not ok on any level... after finding out about these guys and their association with Fire industrys who illegally recast confrontation and sell them out of Hong Kong... no... I like confrontation but this is just wrong.

Armchair defense attorney.....

Very characterful, well done. Thought it was a mierce miniature when I saw the dogs bits , then realized it couldn't be because the ogres bits were covered by a large droopy sack.

Now that's a flavorful model! Is it an original design this time? If so, quite tempting

Yea, you`re right, it`s Bonner art. So what?
I did`t copy his art, I made sculpt inspired by his art. Do you see the difference?

That's stretching the definition of "inspiration" pretty far there, friend. No, yours is not a copy in the traditional sense of the word, but you have pantographed Bonner's artwork into a three-dimensional sculpture pretty much exactly, adding nothing of your own. Whether it's illegal is not up to my feeble judgement, but what it is is unseemly, distasteful and morally repugnant.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Those sculpts are amazing, but legally it's indeed a bit iffy. Maybe you could contact the owners of the IP and work for them :-) Cause you are really talented.
