Highly unlikely. I didn't get all the extra survivors by any means, but my wave 2 box that arrived yesterday contained 14-16 survivors (off the top of my head) so the total for season 2 may well be 80 or so if you got every single mini. If you got all the promos from season 1 and season 2, you could be creeping up on 200 survivors by now. I wouldn't put it past CMON to aim for a max over all 3 seasons of 300.

The recent interviews indicated that the season 3 box would contain 12 survivors due to the more comparative nature of the game with each player controlling a small team.

A bit more info on Season 3 from Percy at GG (translated from French with a bit of a tidy up from me as google translate is a bit to literal some times)

Season 3 is called well Rue Morgue , the tiles represent a hospital ( but not just a hospital) , there is only one type of zombie in the game ( although ... well, you'll see ) there are 12 survivors and none of them are "veterans" of Season 1. The ability to form teams of survivors is present, as well as the competitive mode , although it is optional , the heart of the game remaining cooperation. There are a lot of new things in the rules, such as a different management of Invasion areas, Team Actions and many other surprises. There's an extension in the TCM box format provided , as well as additional boxes of figurines which bring their share of surprises and novelties.

Season 3 has received special care during its development . With its experience in previous seasons, the team Guillotine Games has listened to the views of players to avoid some pitfalls of S2, to find the right balance between classic and new, possibly making the best Rue Morgue box Zombicide to date .

Zombicide Season 3 : Rue Morgue should come out simultaneously in English and French .

The cooperative or competitive mode is added, any team with two or more survivors may choose Team Action cards at the beginning of the game and use during the activation of one of its members . Missions played in competitive mode have a unique winner : the team that has the most experience at the end of the game wins. The action happens over 10 years later, but in a few months , and we will find an aged version of the old Survivors. Each team will have its specialty orientation. When you enter a hospital room , we will not know right away if the beds there simply dead or zombies.

Well that isn't true at all.

I have every survivor, including Audrey and Kyoko, and I have like 55 survivors. Even if you include the zombivors, that's still only hovering around 100.

But I get that hyperbole is really fun.

I'd give anything for them to do this one as a general release non- Kickstarter with some send away deal for promo characters. My wallet can't take another Kickstart.

OK, so my figures were off. Sue me!

By actual count on the KS pages, season 1 started with 6 and ended with 15. Season 2 TCM and PO combined started with 10 and ended with 38*. (NOT including Zombivors) So max possible survivors is currently 53*. So possibly an increase by a further 47 making a total of 100 overall if you got every single one of them.

Oh, and I don't consider the difference between 38 and 80 to be in the realms of hyperbole. Everything else was based off that assumption, and the idea that CMoN would probably want to increase the number of survivors in each consecutive season, if at all possible. Note the use of "may be", "could be", and "wouldn't put it past". All these are terms that indicate I was talking in the realms of possibility, not actual fact.

When they say older versions of survivors, they just mean the original 6, right? Not of all... however many there are right now?

I would assume so. Or maybe a small number of the core survivors from s1/s2? Presumably some wouldn't have made it. I think it's interesting that they aren't part if the core 12 from this set. Maybe an expansion ala the dogs?

Hahaha. Dude, you said they were "presently pushing 200 and may near 300 at the end of this one". There are around 50 survivors. If that isn't the definition of hyperbole, I don't know what is.

Anyways, now that that fact session is out of the way, I still think we should do a contest. I have extra promos so I'll be happy to provide prize support.

We can do it a few ways: people can guess a number of total bonus survivors (which would be first come first served) or we can let everyone have a guess at what one of the new survivors will be inspired by.

I'm up for either. What say you all?

I'd take a shot at either honestly. Though I also have all the survivors, other then the new contest chick (Big Bang theory one). Still need the green dice though. Hopefully available in this kickstarter.

If not guess I will go back to plan a and buying a plano case from Amazon and making it look like a first aid kit with my red cross stickers.

CMoN does have a bag made by Battlefoam if your intrerested in that type of thing. I highly recommend the Battlefoam inserts that fit inside the game box, I got one from the first Kickstarter and it works really well.

Battlefoam is a great product.

But my minis are not painted so dumping them in a plano box is easier and more economical. Unless there is a different type of BF bag I am unaware?

They made a couple of trays that fit inside the box and held pretty much every model from the first KS.

I have more survivors than I could ever want, I have more than have actually been used. What drives this game is scenarios and maps. Good scenarios are far and few between, especially ones that are challenging.

I can count the times I have lost one one hand.

And that they are coming out with a scenario book that collects the best of those....

not only have I played all of them, but had them professionally printed.

Well worth the money.

top 5 most played board game in my group.

Settlers and Kingsburg are the only 2 that I think get played with more.

The only times we've lost is because of that "one guy" who like to open up as many doors as possible.

And decides to be an A-hole when we could have won the game by sacrificing himself to save the others (he has a bomb or something).

His final words were if I die you all lose.

We all lost.

But it was hilarious.

Try getting 4 sets of tiles and putting them all together.

We played a home brewed "Alamo" scenario.

Several people were in the "Alamo" while the others had to save the people inside, obtain 2 cars and get out of the city.

10 people entered, 2 people lived

4 generally, one in a blue moon 5 or 6. Most ever was 10

Maybe that's why we always get our asses kicked with 2-3.

It could also be because I'm a gak roller and my wife thinks she can do it all herself.
