The gunship is just awesome. Unless this was a Star Wars model in the same scale as 40K, I have absoultely no idea how you did this. Fantastic work.

@ Viktor: I will add pictures of the gunship in the gallery probably this weekend, going to have a battle at my Lgs, and will make pictures there of the army. I hope I will have it finsihed by then

@Storag: Lame answer: Practice makes perfect . But my painting style is just getting a smooth coverage all-over the model + hardcore edgelining and freehands.
Some small quick tips: always make sure your paint is not too thick, never! For the highlights: that just take practice (and a steady hand helps too )

Next 2 are coming up later this week/end.

The Grand Tournament is next weekend! And as always our team has the same T-shirts.
We have a guy in our team who is a great amateur illustrator. Last year he made a shirt with everyones armyleader with a mock up of our own portrait.

This year he made a gathering of all of us! Yesterday he finished the sketch, and I didn't want you guys to miss it.

Had my battle today. Vs Droids, Ehm Necrons. Quite fitting though.

I promised you pictures.. But I didnt bring my camera.. Sorry for that, but we had the table with sucky lighting anyway + Imhotek was on the table, so I didnt see any light till turn 6 anayway . Still won though, because of the ARC troopers for getting the secondary objective ''Linebreaker''

People at my club are demanding that I change it to a Pin-up Twi-lek!
Then the guy I was playing against today told me about some decoration of a cartoony wasp about to sting on fighter jets and helicopters.

All in all very tempting.

If you have any good reference material for me about the wasp or anything else that would cool. Feel free to hijack this thread with some pics, and I will see what I will use or not!

if you use a wasp... go and search for janet van dyne...the wasp of the marvel avengers original line up... you´re bound to get something sweet looking that way

as for good looking twi-lek stuff.... everything i would chose to suggest would be not suitable for this board
