Nids are going to be the rumor monger apocalypse. So many rumors for them over the last 5 years.

In what is almost hilarious commentary on his own blog's accuracy, Natfka posted a list of everything that's rumored to release this month:

December Releases: Which ones will make it, and which ones will be kicked into the new year?
Escalation: 40k Expansion that adds a Lord of War slot into regular 40k games that can be filled with Super Heavies, Gargantuan Creatures, and more.

Stronghold Assault: A large 40k expansion to add multiple new fortifications into the game with new upgrades, and even combining fortifications into a single large one for one foc choice.

Space Marines: Ultima Edition: A new limited edition set with new artwork and 4 hardback books as one single collectors edition set.

Sigmar's Blood: A Warhammer Fantasy supplement that recreates Volkmar's invasion of Sylvania

Tyranid Codex: New 6th edition codex obviously with new model releases

Total duh on my part, but apparently Larry Vela is Big Red. Combined his listings.

Funny that the ones I attributed to Larry were less reliable than the ones for Big Red. He's at less than 50% either way.

Whats the current view on the rumours of a Raven Guard supplement? Are they still valid or have they been totally discredited?

I'd list them at unlikely at this point. at least in the near term. Long run? Probable.

Minor updates due to confirmation of the December release list. I think Monday or so, I will need to do a big update to catch up with all the stuff that has happened recently.

Bretonnians had a few rumors with 2013 dates on them, too. You should go through the Fantasy rumors and make sure stuff doesn't get overlooked in the nidpocalypse.

Yeah, generally when I get the time, I check everything that isn't 'no rumors pending'.

Technically it can be either one. The rumor was that the Executioner boxed set can make the Executioner special character, Tullaris. Tullaris' only defining feature is the "First Draich", which is not described as to what it is.

I'm going to go with false though. Compare it to the line before that one:

Yeah, the Admiral got a kit but the Executioner character kit was listed in the "second wave" correct? We did not get the Executioner/Black Guard kit until then so that could be part of the confusion. I thought I remembered reading something about the rumor being "Executioner/Black Guard kit with character options in the box"?

I just don't know how to really class this rumor.

Both characters have no real defining piece of wargear that would have necessitated them to be independent kits, but rather are just named versions of the unit type with some kind of special rule attached.

It's nowhere hinted that you could make Tullaris (or however you spell his name) from the Executioners / Black Guard kit. Sure, you could pretend the champion was the special character, but he'd look just like all the other Executioner champions. In all cases where you can build special characters from other kits, they come with unique options to set them apart.

Plus the two listed before it are definitely single kits.
(I think the Khainite character one is also somewhat iffy, but at least there are models who are clearly Khainite characters SOMEWHERE in the release.)

I'd expect all models released in plastic + 1-2 per army. Thunderhawks are mentioned as one of those vehicles. FALSE

Have you seen a plastic thunderhawk? Escalation has a bunch of FW items that aren't in plastic.
