The main battletank has the biggest gun. it fires a 150mm HEAT (High Explosive anti-tank) round.
The go-to heavy weapon is the Jackhammer, In PS1 the Jackhammer was a combat shotgun with a large ammo clip, about 12 rounds per, though you only needed two or three shots to kill someone.

P.S. the current infiltrator class can hack terminals, use a sniper rifle, and a pistol, and has stealth mode, which kind of sucks in PS2 compared to PS1

Planetside 2 rocks.
It has been quite some time since I played Planetside (the Original) and I have to say the new aircraft controls are quite strange. They will take some getting used to.
The only thing I really do not like is the Stealth suit. They messed the Stealth suit up. It used to be Awesome in PS1, but now it is just Meh.
Is there any way to change your weapons on your Max suits?

The stealth suit isn't bad or messed up at all; it's just much different. The cloaking itself is actually very effective, you just need to think about it more. Unlike in Planetside 1, you're actually still very hard to see if you move while cloaked, you just have to think about when you use it. The role of the Infiltrator has changed; you're meant to take a few sniper shots, cloak, and run to another point. Then you do it again. It's also an amazing escape tool. They will be introducing other cloaking devices, like ones that last longer but you are more visible, or one that replaces the sniper rifle altogether and works like the PS1 cloaking device. You probably still won't be able to cloak and shoot though, which is a good thing.
You can change weapons on MAX suits at equipment terminals. You can buy new weapons later. Light assault (the jump pack guys) are pretty much exactly what they seem like. More mobile, lightly armed and armored, and you actually need them to do some base assaults. Getting into certain high places is much easier with them! They're also wicked fun to play, and with C4 they're a great disruption class.
I got to play on Esamir last night, and holy crap is it head and shoulders above Indar. The map is gorgeous, the actual battlefields are more open and varied, and it honestly felt like Planetside 1 but better in every way. The game is really shaping up to something great, and word is that they'll be adding sanctuaries and some other good old stuff in before long. The only problem is that Esamir is too damn purple right now! Fighting against both NC and VS when you've only got 15% pop isn't easy!
