Yeah, they're small.

Anyone have a link to exactly what's in biohazard wave 1 and wave 2?

So the second wave for Biohazard came for me. Minis are just like the boxed ones, no problems. The blue turrets went together easily.

My issue is I got no updated cards ,just the special wave 2 new models ones....

I know they even listed all biohazards will be given 2.0 version cards since the major update. I know many of you people have had issues with missing pieces, anyone have contact info I can get to get my cards?

I think they had an issue with the printers not getting the cards done and will be automatically sending out the 2.0 updated cards. There was something about it in the news and rumors section I believe. I'll take a look and see if I'm remembering correctly.

I do not recall anything about cards not being done and not being included in the second shipment.

@Target

First off, no fair that you got yours. But second off the models are tiny in comparison to GW models. Or have you not really looked at the "good guys" from the set you got already

The Samaritans are actually the same size as Infinity miniatures, which are a reasonable 28mm non-heroic size. If the new models match up with the rest of the Sedition Wars humans, then there really is nothing to worry about. The way you're all talking, I was assuming the Wave 2 stuff is just abnormally small even by SW standards.

The comparison photos I've seen of them haven't appeared any smaller than the regular wave 1 minis. It's nice to hear that people in the states are finally receiving their sets in the mail, even if I didn't get in on this Kickstarter originally. It means I'll be able to trade or by the exclusive minis I need soon

It would appear that I was mistaken about the replacement cards. I thought I had read that they were shipping replacements automatically. Maybe that was the Vokker mini and I confused the two? Hopefully someone better informed than myself can interject here.

I'm near-positive that replacement cards should be automatic though the replacement rules were $3 or so.

In this picture I do think the Battlestar Galactica chick looks too small and thin. Granted, she is not wearing armor, but if you look at her arms and head they look as if they would be rattling around inside a suit of Samaritan armor.

Am I mistaken or does the left-most model have some seriously gnarly flash?

Yep, lots of flash visible on that figure in this picture.

Shipping update

Update #113 · Sep 11, 2013 · comment

For those of you in the UK that received UPS tracking info that isn't live, this was due to mailing labels being printed too far in advance of actual pick up. Battlefoam has now corrected this and this issue should not recur. Sorry for any confusion or inconvenience caused.

We are working our way through the shipments that include the Terrain Pack now and for the USA warehouse expect to be complete by next week. Battlefoam UK is expected to complete in two weeks. We'll post another update when USA shipments are done, and another one when UK shipments are complete.

I'm wondering if I'll have to contact someone. I haven't heard a single thing about my shipment, and I didn't even go in for a terrain pack.

Meh, be glad you're in the US. Most of us EU backers (especially us with terrain packs) would be positively delighted to have it by then.

I didn't get (and still don't have) any kind of shipping information before it arrived on my doorstep.

Nope, only glanced at wave 1, maybe you're right, i opened them next to my kroot party and was quite taken aback. As I said in my original post though, I was guessing it was just me not paying attention, these arent abnormally small for sedition wars (like a mistake/error), just that they felt smaller than I expected.

To be perfectly honest, the rules are actually pretty damn good at this point and are being tightened up even further as we speak. IMO V2 is fast and fun and easy to use, and the newest errata fixed up the main balance gripes people had with it. I think you can complain as much as you want about how we arrived at the rules (and, man, have people done that), but the rules themselves are not a problem at all.

I know the process hasn't been very smooth (*understatement*), but to me it doesn't matter as long as things get worked out in the end.

To be fair though, not everyone is looking for the same thing in a game.

Sedition Wars. The bane and regret of every board gamer.

I'm so glad this horror show is over. I love seeing this game selling for 35.00 on Miniature Market. I wish we had had a sculptor that had the balls to do what the Kingdom Death creator did and I think this simple line says it all.

Slowing down for Quality

He's switching from the horrible plastic we got with Sedition Wars to the exact same plastic GW uses because he was unhappy with the results.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/poots/kingdom-death-monster/posts

I’m sure glad GW is going to all plastic, so the ever-rising cost of white metal won’t impact the cost of their miniatures.

Well, based on my tracking info my stuff should be here on Saturday or so. Looking forward to getting this wrapped up. Got a few extra models that I'm looking forward to converting and playing with. I'm at least mildly excited.
