I would not object to some sort of corridors, possibly located in some sort of Star Behemoth inhabited by Chromozone Thieves and Galactic Jarhead Eliminators.

We're only 1 order away from 200 orders since setting up our webstore, the next order gets a nice freebie cos we're nice like that!

In other news, we're just preparing the press release for the low-level ELMOR system (elevated roads to the uninitiated ) and they'll finally be released for pre-order whoop! There's going to be a 2 week pre-order period (mostly to give us time to go to Crisis this weekend!) The high level ones will be released sometime before November once we've painted the high-level access ramp and got lots of pictures.

The SIR crate will also be released this weekend at Crisis, priced at £17 for 2 or £40 for 5. Those who've seen our thread in the Infinity subforum will know they have a detail panel designed to take a 14-up sticky label to let you make your own branding and stick them straight to the model, there's just a minor bit of tweaking to do to them and they're good to go

We hope to see some of you guys at Crisis, make sure to ask Ed why it took so long for the roads to be released

Really liking how someone has finally made a road system with side pieces.

It makes them so much more useful as gaming pieces rather than plain flat roads since models can take cover behind them. Plus, 2d terrain is never any fun, vinyl road tiles or strips always tend to look a bit crappy.

Having the road surface itself raised is great too, since models will be able to either stay completely out of sight behind the road, or in cover when on the road.

Plus, the width of them creates some great open spaces for urban boards.

Looking at them has me thinking.. modular trench system is definitely on your radar right?
Pretty sure you could make a much better set than the new GW one just by adapting your current battlesnap stuff to be 2-sided, and adding a few junction pieces to it.

Pure awesome.

Also those roads are nice. When you mentioned you were photoshopping them earlier I thought you were adding dead cadians! Not glowwy green lines....

Hmm, might try that with the remaining fortress bits that I haven't used yet! I have a funny feeling I just threw out a huge section of pink styrene that would have been perfect though...

Hey Warmill, have you guys considered doing gameboards or dungeon tilesets? I know it is not as complicated as 3d terrain, but I feel like there would be a market for paintable dungeon tile boards or space hulk boards which had patterns on them and possibly levels like short walls or something... but were generally 'flat' for transport and storage.

Like something with 3 levels of cut-out sandwiched together with fancy cut patterns to look like floors and terrain.

Not sure the market, but I would think there would be a middle ground between 2D printed dungeons/hulk hallways and full 3D casted tiles...

Well Antwerp was lots of fun, we drank belgian beer, chatted to lots of European gamers and even managed to sell a few things! Woop!

And now I'm ill! Boo! I blame Ed personally.

Now that show's out the way it's time to get the shipping crates all painted up nicely to get the boxart ready for Warfare at Reading this weekend, we won't have a stand ourselves but at least one of us will be mooching around the Simple Miniatures demo board on the Saturday so if anyone wants to order anything for collection on the day let us know, the usual 10% off show discount applies!

Reading is next weekend - unless you're going early!

Will there be any new stuff for sale on the day? Where can we find it?

How do you expect me to know what it is if you haven't painted it! Unpainted models are just proxies for the real thing

Shipping crates are all done and dusted, and they look rather sexy if I do say so myself!

Having played a few games of Infinity with them now, I an confirm they work rather well, especially when it comes to using the built in ladder and a token to mark models not quite all the way up the ladder, poking their heads over the top to get off a few shots without losing cover bwah hah hah!

There will be a few packs available at Warfare in Reading this weekend through the lovely chaps at Simple Miniature Games, and anyone who wants to see them in action can pay a little visit to their Infinity demo table to see how cool they are. Available in a pack of 2 or a pack of 5, the 5-packs come with a sheet of Street Wars-related labels to stick on the crates, but anyone with a bit of computer knowhow can whip up their own and print them on standard 14-up sticky label sheets!

General release will be in about a week's time

Loving the colours on these. Nice to see them not just painted as rusty. On discovery channel there is a program about people prepping for the end of the world. On guy built a castle from shipping crates. Really impressive. Two shipping crates high so no one can easily scale the wall. I'll try to find a image and post it here.

We treated ourselves to a shiny new toy for Christmas, a super sexy airbrush! After fudging our way through painting terrain with a series of old / abused / cheap airbrushes we splashed out on a decent one to paint up our next batch of releases ready for release in the new year. We have a couple of products that are just waiting for boxart, including the elevated version of the ELMOR system which is finally done and dusted, and a selection of brand new things that have been kept firmly under wraps up until now so keep watching this thread for pre-release photos and information.

A big thanks to everyone who's supported us during over the year, whether it's through buying our products or just bullying us to stop faffing around and actually release stuff Here's to 2013 and our continued mission to take over the world!

Here's a sneaky peek of one new project for 2013, our first (but definitely not last!) foray into 28mm figures. This guy is part of our ongoing campaign to build a universe that has been hinted at through the ongoing fluff for our terrain. We tried to get a picture of him but it turns out he's shy!

They can have their bases any colour they want, as long as it's neon green.

Do you guys still sell the bases? I checked the store a while back and noticed that almost all of them had been taken down. I hope you do because I have a couple and they are fantastic!

Ah hah good job reminding me we really need to sort out the bases on the website! They are on there under jewel bases, I was going to re-do the categories and got as far as deleting the old categories but not as far as doing new ones, guess that's one for the january job list
