Nurgle Veteran Marine with the Flu

Haven't had a lot of time to put in lately, but with 10 minutes here and there, I've managed to get 7 "Plague Marines" nearly done by hacking and slashing at 7 old Chaos Marines, adding in some DG pads, priming and painting them. After their weapons are done they get based, that will put me at 21 Plague Marines (3 squads of 7, hoy!).
The squad on the right are my Mark of Nurgle Havocs, with 4 Lascannons. I have a basic outline for what I will be running when I use Chaos from here on out:

Bikers with Biker Lord
DP
3 x 7 Plague Marines
7 AC Havocs
7 LC Havocs
Vindicator
Helbrute
Rhino

That is a pretty pricey core, but I love all of the models. Stay tuned.

The picture is a bit washed out but the army is looking like its coming along nicely.

I am now accepting commissions for any hobby project! I've been in the hobby since '92. Specializing in traditional brush methods, creating a gritty dark aesthetic. From single character models to entire armies. From individual terrain pieces to entire table tops. From tabletop level to masterclass level painting. From purchasing and assembly to leveling up your assembled armies paint job. If it has to do with the hobby I can do it! Hit me up and let's chat about your project!

Its in the poory lit corner of my work desk, I need to get a light to get behind me so I can get a quality picture. Perhaps I will get a white sheet out, get out all my Guard and Chaos and set them up and get some quality pictures. Feels good to have such a large amount of painted stuff. Thanks!

Whew! Haven't had a lot of time lately to work on hobby, but I did manage to squeeze in a game (which is a rarity!). I finished up my Predator to give me a little flex at the Heavy spot.
What I have done:
3 Nurgle Spawn (the Nurglings)
Lord on a Bike
4 Bikers
4 squads of 7 Plague Marines
Lascannon Havocs
Autocannon Havocs
Obliterator
Vindicator
Predator
Daemon Prince
Lord on foot
5 Terminators
Helbrute
Rhino

I am so happy with my results for the small amount of time put in. Few minutes here, few minutes there. I have to find some Christmas money to expand the force a little more but as for now, I might be moving on to finishing a bunch of Guardsmen or finally painting my cultists. We will see! Stay tuned!

Looking good man looking very good.....

Plague marines always a good force.. and always a joy to paint.

"Ooh, a big flashy lighty thing! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually, but give me time. And a crayon!" ...

Great work with the Plague Marines. Neat little idea with the Havoc launchers make from Valkyrie pods

I reallly like your hydra conversions.
Also. I realize that this may be coming to you a little late, but if you have to strip another model, you should use LA Amazing. Its a dollar at the dollar store and it rips through paint in a way that puts simple green to shame.
nice work so far.

Thanks! Since I never plan to quit modeling and building Warhammer armies, I will keep this in mind. Buying just that one jug of simple green wiped out a lot of my "savings" from getting a tore up ebay gem.

I am not sure what to do next:
Add on to my Death Guard?
Paint Guardsmen?
Fire up my Necrons again?
Finish my counts-as-Deathwing?
Make some scratch built stuff (which I have never done!)?
We shall see. I am working on a four player campaign with my buddies and might be tied up doing that for a little while. I will keep everyone posted.

Hey guys,
Worked on Necrons for a while, played here and there, raised the family some, worked on the house and finally got back to adding to my Chaos/Guard. Here's the latest.

Byrmm you are a odd one.. that model is just so silly. However, you painted it lovely and made it attractive well done.

You guys have to be kidding. Its a great sculpt, looks good on the table, passes the kid test (my kids are like "whoa!"), was fun to build and fun to paint.
Its a winner to me.
Plus, it fries marines.

Coming up, got some new Nurgle terminators done, along with some WIP warp talons..stay tuned.

sounds good. But in all seriousness majority all dislike the hell turkey for various reasons. I dislike it because its an armored dragon thing. I dislike that it only half looks like a dragon, it needs either more dragon or less dragon.
But yeah it does pass the woah test.

No doubt that the stats are absolutely awesome and that it is one of the more powerful and versatile options for CSM, but the model looks like it is from a Japanese trading card game and the silliness of adding a Fantasy model to a Sci-Fi game is inexplicable.

I won't drag this out further since it's your opinion vs. mine, and opinions can only be argued. I have no desire to argue.

But will will continue to silently disagree.

Dude WOW those Plague Bearers are beautiful in the most horrible way possible. I think the new plastic models look a bit goofy but you completely rocked them. Great job.

The Chaos Lord looks ready to bring the love of Papa Nurgle to the galaxy. Another excellent piece.

Glad to see you back and sharing stuff.

Poor pictures but until my good camera is back working, these will have to do.
Some thoughts:
The Plague Drone is an amazing model. They are just awesome. They paint themselves.
Can't wait to use them in a game! Looking forward to it.

Ick.
