Could someone link me to the thread where people are organizing what they want to sell/trade from the sets? I'd like to get my hands on 2 of the "Fire it up" sets (the 4 translucent red models that were included in every Vampire, and were a $5 add-on).

Also, is there a thread in N&R about these shipping? Someone mentioned there was, and another was locked as a duplicate, but I never got a link to the original "it's shipping" thread.

Probably get the largest pool to choose from there, though I think I saw a thread on another forum as well.

Regarding the shipping thread...I think it referred to this thread as the primary, I dont recall any others here (a couple on Reapers forums though).

That would be my thought for a flying version, but I think it will be too big to really stretch it into a flying pose; hence coil it up a bit like a Trevigon - perhaps around a ruined tower.

Hadn't seen that one come in (saw a few people in England who had received tracking numbers though). How was customs for it? I understand they like to go after you guys for that sort of thing pretty hard.

We will determine the customs declaration value of your shipment based on the Pledge Level(s) you chose in your backer survey. We will use the single highest pledge level you have chosen as your customs value.
As examples: if you want two Vampire Levels your receipt will show $100 as that is your single highest Pledge Level. If you are a Ghast Level and added paint and Orcs your receipt will show $15.00.
So while it might be a bit rough on those who have just a single vampire level (comparatively), higher pledges (for example mine at a ~$300 total pledge), of which I believe there's a lot, will get off at the same cost. shouldn't be much over GBP25/EUR30 or so. I hope.

And customs guys usually don't know much about minis, so they might well think that several hundred bucks worth of toys is only $100
(hell I hope so, customs over $300 is NO fun )

I was thinking about that last night when I saw that (not yours in particular...but in general) - and because of the way that Reaper is splitting up the shipping...it is possible that all of the international orders will be shipped before the US orders get into the more complicated orders.

They had said they were going to alternate US, Canada and International shipments each day - and that 80% or so of their backers were from the US...so, yep - probably have all of those international orders underway before they are halfway done with US orders.

Well I got one of the painted model pledges and got an email back saying that they are still waiting for the optional models from china and still got a little bit to choose what I want painted.

Just to be sure - I should get a "shipped" e-mail when my order goes out, right? So I don't need to keep looking out for the postman until I get that?

That's what they said, and it seems to jive with reports from those who've already received something (be it models or a shipment confirmation).

Yep, they have it set up to send the message automated when they get the postage tracking thing through their fulfillment system as I understand it. So, when they print the label for your box...you get your email.

And an update from Reaper Bryan on the KS Comment stream...

Bryan Stiltz about 2 hours ago wrote:

@Jason Zavoda - I'm sorry we have not popped in every day to give updates. We are working on shipping, and have completed thousands of orders by this time, with more going out in the next week. We are pushing as hard as we can to get out absolutely every order possible before ReaperCon, and in the last week, Until just now, I have not even going into my office to look at my e-mails, let alone this thread, as I have been managing the shipments.

Beyond that, you raise a few points - one: that we have been allowing walk ins to pick up their orders - yes. If you call us and tell us, then we will print your order, and get your items gathered in a box by our retail outlet. When you come in, you get your box. I'm not sure why that makes you upset, but I will not deny that we are doing it. My crew, the ones that are fulfilling the orders, are not doing this part of the operation, it is being done by store personnel, so it has zero impact on our fulfillment times.

Two:The definitions of tiers: You are correct. I have referred to the tiers but not defined them. I do not at this time intend to give a comprehensive list of what each tier entails. I couldn't if I wanted to, because it's not as easy as "if you got components X,Y,Z you're Tier 2, and people who got A, B, C are tier 3.". It's a function of quantity of items, estimated box size (estimated by volume of the previous factor), estimated weight, and ... other stuff. I am always welcome to go into as much detail as I can when explanations help, but frankly, if I said that today I've got a crew on Box 1, a crew on Box 2, and a third crew prepping box 3, until I tell you further the exact dimensions of each of those 3 boxes, that data doesn't help you. Suffice it to say, we're working on it, we have the entire shop working towards this goal, and I'm not likely to have much time to jump in here and post - and I'm the only one that has the backer account that can post.

I appreciate your feedback - I'm sorry that you have been unanswered while I have been busy, but some of the information you ask for I just cannot give. When will your order ship, exactly? Well, I don't know. Am I going to get through 1,211 orders today or 1,467? Will you be in the 256 that's a maybe (in between those two examples), and ship today or tomorrow? I cannot tell you that until the end of the day, and by then, you've either gotten your e-mail or you haven't. We do not stop at a pre-determined number each day, if we get to X shipment early, we just keep going. That makes identifying a specific day impossible. I can tell you that we created a timetable internally that estimates our progress, and I'm 2 days ahead of schedule, but I'm going to be obtuse and not share that timetable - and I;m doing it in case I lose ground later. I don't want to promise a few thousand backers that I will be finished by day X and then because of an unforseen problem, fail to meet that.

@Cleanthes - I cannot post things like "today we're doing X+Y+Z" because I have different teams, each with a stack of a given size box, working on orders presorted to fit into that box, so we're doing orders with just Vamp+1 paint set, orders with vamps, cases, and (about)10 small add ons, and guys with vamps and cases and large addons, all at once.

Everyone, please be respectful towards Jason, he is excited about his shipment and just wants it quickly, and I totally appreciate that. Jason, if you would like to discuss this further, my e-mail address is bryan@reapermini.com, although I warn you right now I haven't checked my e-mail in 4 days.

In closing, I do appreciate everybody's patience, enthusiasm, and even the impatience. If ANYBODY needs their order flagged because of a move, surgery, or emergency, please please please e-mail us and we will do everything we can to catch it.

What I find encouraging is that he gives two example numbers above 1000 for their daily shipments...now, those might just be random...or they might actually represent real daily numbers (or close to them). That would put things on a good track for having almost all the orders shipped by the ReaperCon break.

Of course...it could just be wishful thinking on my part.

Oh wow. What a bummer! I played in their Monday night Commander games for almost all of 2012 and no one even mentioned the kickstarter on the sales / games floor.

Well, everyone enjoy your high-quality low-cost minis.

Man I hope they are getting through over 1000 orders shipped a day!

Although I almost don't want to get an email confirming shipping, because think of the surprise when I get the box at work and can spread it out throughout my desk!

They may very well be going through 1000 a day for the single vampires. For the most part, that's print label, affix label and ship. They'll slow down when those orders are all done and they're moving onto orders that contain more items and require more precision in picking and packing.

I suspect my 2x Vampire, 3x Paint Set, and 40+ add-ons is going to be way down the list. :(

Pretty sure Bryan had said single vampires were done last week.

Most the stuff I have been seeing people get confirmations for since Thursday of last week have been 3-5 options.

Granted, you will have some slowing as they get into the various add on options (like getting extras of items in a normal Vampire kit). However, you should also have process improvement, as the spirit to live leaves the pickers and they become like robots pulling bones without thinking.

If you really really like the minies in the Kickstarter I heard somewhere reaper will sell the vampire package at $399 MSRP. Also you can pick up individual items through their website, its still a deal if you compare what other companies are offering.

Another route is the ebay route, I saw a few posting for the vampire package, maybe you will get lucky and grab a deal.
