Another bit from the KS comments

"Re: Additional trucks - the Container we are anticipating arriving this week is not the last one. We know everybody want their rewards - believe me, I want to ship them out and be able to call this project finished, also. We appreciate the patience, the support, and the enthusiasm."

so it looks like more delays are possible in the future

As I'm working on my CSMs at the moment, I wouldn't be able to paint my Reaper Bones for a few months, anyway. So, I'll wait.

Hang in there, gents. The slow boat from China should be pulling in, soon.

I hope they get the Canada Customs thing sorted soon, too.

We are currently waiting on only 4 more shipments (Containers) from China, the last of which should be leaving China about one week from today!
It normally takes 3-6 weeks from ship date to arrive at our dock, with 5 weeks being the Average.
As things arrive over the next few weeks we will be able to resume shipping orders, but we are thinking that the bulk of your orders will be waiting for that last shipment to arrive.

We appreciate your patience and support throughout this process!

~Ed

so (sad face) it looks to be 5-7 weeks before they can start shipping the majority of stuff. Longer than I'd hoped (and I'm sure longer than they wanted).

I only hope the poor Canadians stuff is sorted out by the time this lot arrives

I'm tempted to email Reaper and ask if I can add to my pledge. As they are officially going to be late, I'd like to grab some of the cool models that I passed on. I understand that as a supporter, I dont' have a lot of recourse, but it would be a classy move, kind of like how Mantic reopened the BOGO.

I agree, but more because I want to drop one add on for another. No reason for a bone giant now that I no longer have a skeleton army...

Gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed by this. I understand that it's Reaper's first Kickstarter and involves lots of "new" for them, but 3 months over deadline is quite a miss.

I was planning on getting the Reaper figs in time to paint a warband up for our club's Song of Blades and Heroes summer campaign which starts mid June. Based on the original shipping dates I had more than enough time and a big leeway window, but apparently that wasn't enough. Looks like I'll be painting up some swap-meet fantasy lead instead.

Still happy with the great deal on alot of figs and I don't think it will affect my future patronage of Reaper, but I did want to voice my displeasure that a company with as good a CS reputatio as Reaper had such a misstep.

I'm pretty much in the same boat, Reaper has always done some fantastic work in my opinion (I've got gobs of their stuff), and the delayed shipping thing just sucks in general. Will I still buy from them? Yup! Will I probably need to once I get my Bones stuff? Probably not .

KIckstarters are notorious for shipping late.

Reaper at least shipped out all the sets without the huge sized add ons.

Yes, but there was a lack of communication on reapers part. When they said they would ship the least complicated orders and move into the more complicated orders well they never said what constituted as a complicated order. So Alf ordered 1 Vampire pledge, Clockwork Dragon, Cthulhu, and Kaladrax 3 addons total. So in my mind it wasn't complicated they didn't alert us to the fact that ANYONE with a large model add on would be some of the last shipped, which is kind of a comminications misstep. And they did start shipping on time for the most part, let's not forget that fact.

Get froggy on your government and UPS, then. One, the other, or both are taking FOREVER getting Reaper their importer license so that you don't have to pay the tons taxes on your pledge.

Don't care for your racist remark.

Also, anyone with just a base vampire and no add-ons actually has NO Import fees or taxes to pay at a $75 value. Brokerage fees & Import taxes are only supposed to come into effect @ items valued $100 and up. Further to the point, NONE of this stuff was purchased items, they are gifts/bonuses for giving our pledge on Kickstarter.

Ever got a KS package from anyone else, such as CMON? No import fees, even at $500+

Having worked in the import business, I suggest you are overly optimistic about how smooth the importing processes are. The rules are never as clean cut as they should be, and the enforcement is never as transparent as the rules. It is actually a little surprising anything gets shipped internationally at all, the way things are.

Also, I don't think "froggy" is racist. Unless you are a frog. Or a toad, perhaps.

No need to play innocent, most people are aware 'froggy' is a term used to refer to the French. Canada has a large french population and it is our second language. The French are known for complaining to the government a lot.

I am positive 'get froggy on your government' was indeed not meant in a pleasant way.

Not if you dropped Sophie which took off $25. They also announced before-hand you would be able to do that.

My pledge for Vampire was exactly $75.

You have successfully locked your Bones pledge stuff into our system.

Here's what you got:

-- Vampire x1 $100

And you paid:

$75

While our system can't change your choices now that you've locked them in, you can update your shipping address and email using the following link:

https://www.reapermini.com/ks/manage/bones/*********

Be sure to keep that safe. It's tied to your pledge.

You'll recieve another email or two from us when your things start shipping.

Please let us know if you have any questions we may be of assistance with, and thank you for your support!
