Not as finished as I would have liked, but I am pretty pleased, considering the time constraints. Kindly ignore the tin foil please - the sump is not quite set!
And a detail shot:
From what I can remember:
Box card -
Connects the girders supporting the fan
The bands on the generator
The pneumatic door to the silo
The slab of corrugated iron on the back of it
Plastic vacuum formed packaging -
The silo itself
Cellophane -
The tarpaulin over the entrance

Very impressive Scarp, looks great and I adore the weathering on the blue.
What did you use for the pipes? I thought it was plumbing hardware at first, but those flanges don't look like they come from there.

Could have done with a bit more finishing but ...
    
Few more shots on my blog.
Cookie packet made the generator body.
The cellophane wrapper made the tarp and the bits of cloth hanging of the sruts either side of the genny.
The box was used in : the floor tiles - the supports - one side of the old battery compartment, and the detailing on the compartment, including the two cables on top - the rear end of the genny - the detailing above the battery compartment - bits of the rubble piles.

Done as I cAn be with this... The foil was killing for me... now with the lights fading here and my eyes tiring I must call this one done. There's millions more things I want(ed to do, but well... next one.
Anyways, shoot:
The foil ended up as an orange builders plastic. I figure if it keeps one dry, color doesn't matter. I just spraypainted the piece eventually after several ambitious tries to make something good of it. Now its just cracking paint, and so far it looks decent enough...
Thats this one for me guys... I know the 'floor' isn't exactly done, but thats because I haven't decided that yet on any of my terrain... and it has to all be the same. I'll show you why:

Anyways... I loved the contest but hated the foil. looking at the competition I can only say I'm glad I'm no judge. Good luck all!

That's quality MauS, love the fact that it's modular with your existing terrain, nice touch
The stained matress is funky - in all respects
And I still think you get massive kudos for not doing the expected, and keeping the container right way up 
Did you try PVA on the foil?

Yep, it even stuck for a while, until i tried to get some wrinkles in it, then it cracked.
eventually sticking it between two sticks of sprue as supports and then spraying turned the least ugly. It functions I guess...

That looks great MrMerlin, and a nice sized bit of terrain too. Nice pipework on the building and the chimneys. Is that shower pipe as the hose?
Nice palette too, good use of the yellows. And liked the checks on he wall
