I like building, I even love gluing.

But hate spending a long time one a single mini trying to slice, cut, scrape and/or file mold lines that seem to never disappear. It's even worse when you try to be careful and slice the mold lines (as many have told me) and the end result is my X-acto knife cutting into the miniature itself.

Completely agree. One of the major pitfalls of PVC (and especially privateers, I've noticed) is that some of these mould lines can be really hard to get off the model without lopping off some detail.

Maybe it's just been so long since I've cleaned one that I'm not remembering Sedition Wars correctly. I might actually assemble one this evening to remind myself.

Looking forward to the people who were so fed up with CMON and their pledges they want to let this stuff go for Mantic level prices!

There is some of it already on ebay.

Honestly though, I can't see this stuff reselling for as little as Mantic. While it's not GW quality models it's definatly better then most of the stuff mantic puts out.

?? I made a buttload selling of my KoW pledge (including a lot of the much-maligned Basilean Men at Arms)

I know you said this tongue in cheek , but I actually didn't mind cleaning my sedition wars minis that much.

It was not as tongue in cheek as you think- I actually enjoying assembling more than painting.

Got my tracking number!

The package was picked up today, in Georgia.

And apparently won't make to me in Massachusetts until Monday the 23rd!

My wife really likes the Cersi stuff and I didn't get anything but the starter....none of the bonuses.....

Went through my pledge today- everything Cerci, Noh, and Black Diamond plus the prismatic Candy and Cola, Void Angel, and Cordelia Clean. Only two of my Cerci Models suffered from the dreaded "No-Face": the long haired pit crew girl and princess Malya. Mold lines didn't look too bad in my opinion. Everything else looked great.

Oh, and each box of Hell's Belles was missing a torso, and Cordelia Clean was missing her gun barrels so I'll need to call about that.

Definately glad I got the Void Angel and prismatic Candy and Cola- my favorite models of the bunch. I'm definately going to pick up more at Gencon.

I'm thinking the Hell's Belles was a packing error. Both were missing the same torso, so I'm guessing they're all going to be like that. I had both pace bots so I believe they had caught the error. Also missing the mat, but my shopping notice said "phase one" so I suppose they're going to ship it later.

Happy birthday Cincy!

I got my tracking yesterday, looks to be here the 24th? Seems slow, but then the only real advantage to living near DC is damned near overnight USPS delivery speeds.

FedEx Smart Post is the least smart thing ever.

I live in Cincinnati. My package was in Dayton yesterday, 45 mins away.

The package went to Indianapolis, 100 mins away.

It'll come today.

And I'll never understand SmartPosts shipping queues.

That still beats the USPS. I had a package sent from New York that just needed to go down the Atlantic coast to the south that took a detour through the Rockies.

Unless you live near DC's Dulles sorting center. Then you can get gak to Montana next day.

Can't imagine why... it's almost like the people who get to tell the PO what to do get the best service!

I got my package but am missing a couple kits for cerci speed and the helles belles kit is missing one of the three riders... It was nice to see that box overflowing with little RK boxes bit after looking through it and trying to remember what the hell I was supposed to get i started to realize some issue with the whole thing.

1 the package itself didnt have a packing list so it's not surprising that some things were not there. With how many boxes and stuff are in there I wasn't even sure what I was supposed to get.

2 the kits themselves don't have any type of instructions whatsoever, and most don't show a photo of the model even on the boxes so figuring out what each piece is (some very tiny) is a bit of a pain, and it is impossible to quickly lay out all the bits and make sure that they are all there is impossible. Even the starter sets are just a big baggie full of tons of bits so it will be a confusing to sort out the bits before assembly.

3 the mini rulebook has confused text in the index and on the back cover because it is obvious that the text is a cut n paste job from the full-sized book and therefore the index is totally inaccurate and the back of the book mentions all of the great stuff inside the book which is actually not in the book... Oops

I am glad I finally got my stuff but I think I am basically done with kickstarter for games from now on...

This appears to be common if not universal. Are you missing an entire rider, or just the top half of the body?

The entire body, not just half. Her head and arms are in the littler baggie I think, but no not just the torso the legs and torso are missing

Same problem here. Both of my Hell's Belles boxes had the same pieces, and the same pieces missing- the second legs/torso. D

Did anyone else get Cordelia Clean? Is it missing the gun barrels as well?

I don't see the problem with the loose pieces- it's fairly obvious where everything is supposed to go. On the big robots all the connections are made with little jigsaw pieces on them so you just have to find what connects to what. Star to star, circle to circle, square to square, etc.

Didn't bother looking at the mini book. The large one seems well laid out, and everything seems to be kept contained to the right section(unlike some other large miniature companies that hide rules in other parts of the book). Of course I only took a cursory glance through it.

My original concerns were just based on miniature quality and delivery date. After reading through the comments from backers that have received their boxes, I'm now also worried about completeness and the timeframe to fix all those issues.

CMoN already stated that any corrections will have to wait until the fulfillment portion is done. But what kind of time are we looking at when every Cerci Hell's Belles set (and other sets presumably) are all missing the same pieces? I'd imagine they'd have to make those bits or cannibalize existing product (assuming they have enough) and pack and ship those bits which sounds labor intensive to say the least.

Yeah, I'm guessing it is going to take a while to fix mispacks, missing items, miscast items, etc.

Especially when you consider it will probably be a bit of a hot potato between CMON and Soda Ninja too.

Ugh.

These miniatures damn well better be good/worth it!!!
