I know this is a wee bit aside the point of this thread however I'd like to put in a suggestion:
I personally would like to see this become, say, a bi-annual event. It would possibly get extremely tedious if it were continuous and players might get bored of it with enough time. Have it bi-annual, players look forward to the next round and have time to perhaps drop their army at the time in favor of testing out another.

I get one game in a month if I'm lucky, so I'm not sure if I'll actually play in the timeframe of this campaign. If I do, I'll submit a batrap, if not, I'll just assume my strike cruiser was thrown off course by a fluctuations of the warp and missed the action.

I know we are still a ways out, but do we have an unofficial planned starting date? I have a league style play coming up, and I would love to be able to contribute those games to the campaign at least at some point during the event (It will be taking place over 6 weeks).

I'm too pissed to give a helpful answer at the moment, but it'll be decided when redkommando gets back from field/wherever he is, and in regards to who you report to, in the players packet will be a list of 'war zone kommanders' for each area, who you'll report to, depending on where your forces are stationed at that point
