No, you can play anyone, its in the FAQ and players packet
and You choose where you deploy, but i suggest coordinating for maximum effect. You report to the commander in charge of whatever warzone you choose

Just choose a system and a planet, send a PM to the Disorder commander in that system and join up on the Disorder forum (links and stuff in the OP).

Be aware that you might get redeployed as needed, but i'll take any preferences you have into account. We'll likely have forces all over the place anyway... that's why we're called Disorder
