Can't be Kroot, I've got calendars uip to 2160 something, and can easily get further than that.

I'll try and hunt them up if I can get home over Christmas, then I can let you know what day of the week any day in history was going back to the 1900's at least, and going forward to at least 2100.

Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." I'm sorry Mathieu, but if you think you can track your plastic shinyness with a WATCH, then you're sadly mistaken.

Oh god, that so reminds me of some lyrics from "The Beautiful South" which I am tempted to change my sig to.

"I bought a watch
to time your beauty
but I had to fit a Second hand"

In the same boat as Mad4Minis. I'd love to get it sooner, but later is just fine as my pile of unpainted will tell you.

Thanks for the updates

We should all take a picture of our piles of unpainted minis and post them here to make Mark feel better.

Who's got the biggest pile?

I know I would be in the running 1 reaver 2 thunderhawks stromeagle 100 guardmans with transports 100 or so hersey marines with 3 land raiders fellblade. and a resin levithan from dreamforge. And 4 super heavies for my guard. And the pile grows weekly I'm addicted to plastic crack.

not me, by a long shot, but i may have the biggest bits pile! i am a crazy bits hoarder/buyer/seller/trader... i've been assembling bits to Chaos-ify my Leviathan Crusader for my CSM army. Chaos Warhound Titan for $~$70 + the cost of a few bits? yes please!

now i wish i had bitten the bullet and bought a 15mm Mortis + a couple arms when the pledge manager went up. oh well, maybe i can sweet talk another one of you loveley gentlemen with an extra one to sell it to me? or i could, dare i say it, wait until they become available outside the Kickstarter...

oh who am i kidding - i can't WAIT!

Sorry, I've got you beat. Stompa, 2 Baneblades, 3000pts of IG, 5000pts of GKs, 2000pts of Orks, 4000pts of Red Scorpions, the contents of 4 Dark Vengeance boxes, marines from 5 Black Reach boxes I need to convert into Chaos, about 2500pts of Eldar, and three WarmaHordes armies, too. Oh, and a Dwarf and Bretonnian army stored away somewhere, plus armies for Reaper's Warlord and CAV games.

I'm a very slow painter, but a very fast buyer and assembler, apparently.

Is that all I have at least one bankers box full of stuff for each 40k army (with 3 full for Space Marines, Chaos Marines) and IG. High Elves, Orks, Dwarfs, Wood Elves, Empire, Minas Tirith . That's just the stuff out of original boxes(also have an entire 3'x2'x6' shelf of GW stuff in boxes). Then there is Trollbloods, Khador, A bankers box full of Dragons, All of Reapers Large Dragons, all of the CAV figures, A flames of War British army(to go with the painted one) and the list goes on and on including Dreamforge's Original Knight Titan Model (Reaver sized) and a scratch built Warlord Titan.

Imperial Gaurd 18,000 Orks 16,000 Marines 21,900
Chaos Marines 7,800 Eldar 4,500 Dark Eldar 3,200
Tau 3,700 Tyranids 7,500 Sisters Of Battle 2,500
Daemons 4,000

Is it bad that I finished everything I own in preparation for my new Eisenkern stuff, and now it's delayed by another month? This past week has seen 25 infantrymen and 2 tanks completed, as well as the whole army based.

Oh well, at least I can put my 2000 points of Guard down on the table and have a fully converted, painted, based army.

No, not bad at all, that makes you a considerably more responsible modeler than the rest of us!

Except for those of us that like to brag about our disposable income, the only reason most of us (myself included) brag about how much unpainted stuff we have is to distract from our lack of self control and slow painting.

I you a full 4 count bow of respect for your self control and diligence.

Yes, I too have more than I can actually paint. I blame it on the logic of "Well it's Games Workshop, so we know it's not getting cheaper..."

The first wave will not even represent a 10% increase in the number of unpainted models I have based on my inventory....which is probably only 70% accurate. I don't really know what that translates to because the math to figure it out becomes very depressing (as is the fact that I need to maintain a detailed inventory of my collection to avoid buying things I already have too many of).

I do have about 50 models that are very, very close to being "finished"...so there is that at least.

You know what...I don't mind a month's delay nearly as much now...

I have my full 2000 point Space Marines army and my Infinity army to work on, and... roughly half of my Sisters of Battle army.

But I had a reason! I wasn't going to buy the Space Marines! It was just supposed to be the sisters ^^;

but then I did the points math with the current DA codex and a DV box. Doubling my SM with another DV box's worth of SM (traded for free) with a Ven. Dread, a modified Mortis Dread, one of the conversion sprues, a custom Master of the Deathwing from bits, a custom champion, and an attack bike ran me approx a dollar a point. I couldn't let that go ^^;

Yeah. no self control at all ^^;

I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn

I'll be in the corner, trying to avoid touching any of you.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that I'm buying a ring for Christmas, so I'll have to lay low on the mini buying front. Don't we guys ever learn?

I haven't learned yet. Didn't even finish my list as I had to get off break and go back to work. When I bought my wife the engagement ring all I could think about was the 14k stood for hope many points of marine I could have bought. Before you ask I'm still happily married....she tells me so every night.

It didn't work the first time. And not because she didn't like the wargaming, though she'd have been a mite happier if I hadn't.

But this one's a keeper. Bought a one of'em crusaders, after all. Picked it's name, too. Jellybeans. It'll go over well with my Warhound, which she baptized "Mr Giggles" after seeing this:

Having said that... I agree!

I don't like it when companies update on Facebook first/only - Soda Pop has this bad habit, as does Knight Models too.

I doubt Mark is heading that route though!

Are those the 15mm leviathans? They don't look to be much more than 5 inches tall, 6 max.
