Damnit! I was 1 ing point away from winning the Proline Pools this week! Stupid hole Chargers being a bunch of incompitent bums and screwing up a 4th and 1!!! If they'd just kicked the damn field goal, I'd have won!

Sooooooo fustrating when you're that close!

Ahahahahahahahahahaha, I'm sorry, but that game was a terrible showing on both sides, I actually thought the Browns were going to lose after the Chargers started getting those field goals, and we couldn't do jack on offense. As to the missing the 4th and 1 (the almost completely easy plays) I believe Cleveland did something along those lines the week before against the Colts, except they PUNTED! At least your Chargers tried and failed, instead of just giving up the ball...

Welcome to the losing side of Football, the Browns will be with you in a moment to get you your comfy blanket, and 6 pack of Keystone

Ontario gambling fun!

You simple pick who will win of each the Sunday & Monday night games, pay a flat $5 per ticket. Whichever person/s has the most correct games that week gets the pot/splits it, so the overall prize simply depends on how many people across the province play each Pools Card.

Sometimes you get insane weeks where people win well over $100,000 - all of it tax-free!
Biggest prize so far this year was one guy during Week 3 one a little over a million dollars - he's probably the only guy who's sad to see those replacement officials go!

I just decided for the first time to play this week's NFL card on a hunch, and I hade every freaking game right... Except those ing Chargers!!! (shoulda listed to the weather report damnit!)

Think I'm going to go outside and let Sandy's winds smack me around for a bit!

ESPN really does hire some winners... I mean, I think it was around week 4 or so, when the Pats were on, the ESPN dudes were talking about this great disguised running attack that New England was running... since I wasn't doing anything else, I watched what this "disguised" running attack that they made sound so new and brilliant.... Turns out the Patriots know how to run a basic counter play, and a counter trap play

Don't forget the toss's!!! And yah I totally agree. What they're talking about is the patriots play the zero set so often that you can't tell if they're gonna run or pass because if the TE's. but really I just think people are just shocked that the pats are running the ball that good.

The trouble with winning pools is that you're supposed to
appease Fortuna by sharing your winnings else she decide it's
your turn to take a bad spin.

Man some of you guys in the pickem league were ballsy with you confidence points last night. Interested to see where your 1/2/3 points lie. I know SD won't by 18 but still.

And what a come back I've made! I still don't think we'll catch kronk but I guess we'll have to see.

I'd say I used up my share of good luck with some of my ballsier picks so far!

Just a matter of time before I have an 0-fer week!

Haha yah I'm hoping I used up all my bad luck. I still can't believe how wild the past 2 seasons have been in the nfl. I'm doing ok in my picks now but can't get a fantasy win to save my life. This is the first team in about 5-6 years I feel like I don't know anything about the nfl,it's like I haven't been watching religiously for the past 22 years since I was 6 haha. It seems the nfl has reached a pretty hefty lvl of parity.

The giants were lucky for both TDs in that game so in a way I'm happy they lost in the end

And the Bears smashed the titans

Tillman now has 36 career forced fumbles including those 4 yesterday, and Hasslebeck's attempt to tackle Urlacher was hilarious.

If you watch the first score (The blocked punt) the punt protector actually starts going to chase down Hester as soon as the ball was snapped.

They are already two INTs returned for a TD shy of the NFL season record... and they have what, almost half a season to do it?? The only way that I think teams will keep the Bears from getting this record is to just never throw, but that'll never happen, so I think they get this record.

I am beginning to think that this year's NFC championship game is gonna be between the Giants and Bears, both teams just seem to be a head above everyone else.

Bears still have 8 regular season games (they've already had their bye) plus however many playoff games they get

Right now I think the NFC championship game will be Bears vs Falcons and AFC would be Texans vs Patriots

Giants are still too hit and miss for me to consider them for the championship but they did that last season.......

I can't believe I put tonight's game as a 7 for confidence points... The later in the week it's gotten, the worse I feel about my choice haha. Well see how it goes I guess, as long as I pick a winner

Best D in the league!

That Bears Titans game was boss.

The bears could go 15-1 this year if the D keeps playing like this.

They NEED the D to keep playing like this. The offense isn't consistent enough.

Mind you the O had 4 TD's yesterday, if they play at 75% of that on a regular basis they will be fine.

The O is dependent on the O Line. if they give cutler 4 seconds to throw on a consistent basis then they will win out.

Like I said, it's inconsistent.

D and special teams set up the scores. Every now and then
Cutler gets a brilliant drive, but it doesn't seem to happen often
enough to be threatening.

I'm a very casual viewer, though. I only caught the first and third
quarters of that game.

Philly is looking like they could lose to a college team tonight... no heart, not push, next to no energy.... plus they lost another O-lineman.
D is not making tackles or plays. If I were a coach on that team I would telll the team that I quit... because the team is playing like they have.
As an owner I would be docking them for every dropped pass, missed tackle, turnover, fumble, and penalty.

The Eagles players need something to wake them up.

Doesn't help that the O-line coach still thinks he has Peyton to protect.... or that the D is still getting to know the DC....

Having nearly the entire O line on the Injured Reserve and Vick's decision making are killing the Eagles. Of course, having someone in your face on every passing play will cause you to make mistakes, though.

2010, the year Vick had his "breakout season" the o-line coach was Juan Castillo... The Eagles had the same kind of injury issues on the line butwere able to protect.
Now the O-line is coached by Howard Mudd A supposed "guru"..... Last qb he had to protect was Manning, and he rarely had to deal with massed injuries.
Eagles Special teams, another "guru", Bobby April, One of the worst Special Teams units in the league.

The Guru experiment is done, get some guys that can actually coach the basics... like TACKLING.

Yep, tackling, basic football fundamentals. I do feel for the Eagles though, specifically Mike Vick. Bell couldnt block anyone and a saint had a free shot at Vick for what seemed like every drive.
