Yet the NFL still want tomorrows game to go ahead, if anything the coaches could be in shock after that

Apparently the NFL asked crennel/chiefs execs if they wanted to postpone and they said no, they want to play.

So glad I got to see that last drive. It was pretty amazing to watch. Also made the pre-game predictions on CBS pretty amusing, as all the analyts picked Detroit, and the Victoria's Secret model guest picked Indy.

The Pats game was fun.

I feel awful and to make things worse my Bears ran out of steam.

But huge admiration for the Chiefs, overcame that huge psychological wall to beat the panthers, fitting tribute

And thanks to pittsburgh's win today, and a wonky tie breaking procedure in the nfl. The PATS currently hold the #2 seed despite losing to Baltimore. That all changes in 2 weeks when the Denver Peyton's play Baltimore but like kronk says WHAT EVA!!!

And the Broncos now have Jacob Hester, from Shreveport LA, and part of the LSU National Championship team, and cousin to Kronk!

Browns are on a two game win streak? The feth is wrong with this world?

They played well today, and deserve that win. Very few penalties called against the Browns, and the few that were called didn't lead to anything.

I find it funny, because Carson Palmer and the Bengals did well against the Browns the past two seasons, I guess he got a lot of support from those guys.

4-8 baby

Hester is your cousin that's so sick, I really liked those LSU teams from the last 6 years. Ask him how the national title was? and tell him some random dude from the north east says he was rad at LSU, And im glad he made the nfl ;p.

My $0.02 on the Chiefs tragedy...Romeo Crennel may not be a good HC, but he is a GOOD MAN, with emphasis on both of those words. Just saw a report saying that the players were amazed on how focused Crennel was on trying to help THEM, when they should be the ones trying to help HIM, after what he witnessed. Is there a player in the league that has a bad thing to say about the guy as a person?

And the Chiefs handled it perfectly, having the moment of silence for victims of domestic abuse. It was a murder-suicide, after all. Brady Quinn was similarly class in his postgame comments.

On a much lighter note:

Mock the Terrible Towel as Ray Rice did two weeks ago, and bad things happen. As the beloved Myron Cope, inventor of the TT said:

I did not see the Terrible Towel as witchcraft to hex the enemy. It would be a positive force, driving the Steelers to superhuman performance, but if it experienced a yen for mischief and created fatal mistakes by opponents, I would tolerate that."

Of course, Joe Flacco being fauxlite has a lot to do with the Ravens' struggles at times.

I have been saying this for some time now.....
Looks like some-one finally listened....

Turns out... Jim Washburn was a dick.

Ruben Frank just dropped a bombshell of an article in the wake of Jim Washburn's firing. Clearly, he was not a popular figure in that team and now that he's gone people are dishing the dirt... I would encourage you to read the entire piece, but here are a few highlights.
Frank paints the picture of a guy in Washburn that had little to no respect for his defensive coordinator Juan Castillo and made no secret of it to his players.
Washburn operated apart from Castillo, running his own little defensive line fiefdom and often either ignoring Castillo or derisively calling him "Juanita" in front of his players, the veteran defensive player said. He was condescending and confrontational and embarrassed Castillo numerous times in meetings and at practice.
Frank says that the fact that Washburn quickly followed Babin out the door is no coincidence.
Babin was all about compiling sacks, never about winning, never about being part of a team, and it turns out Washburn was exactly the same. No coincidence they were dismissed less than a week apart.

Of all the races of the universe the Squats have the longest memories and the shortest tempers. They are uncouth, unpredictably violent, and frequently drunk. Overall, I'm glad they're on our side!

In an NFL related thing, Jimmy Haslem's wife has put on a show called NFL Road Tested with the Cleveland Browns. I looks like it's following the team from the Chargers game at the beginning of October till probably the off season. It was a really cool kind of behind the scenes thing. I'm happy that it's on the Cleveland Browns, but I would love to see almost any other team, except maybe the Jets or the Jaguars

I'd love to see the jets addition just to see exactly how disjointed they are as a team

But you we still don't get to see the locker-room attitude after every game.

Still can't believe Sanchez go named as starter even after being benched

The Jets are a cluster feth to watch this year. When your general manager and head coach are not on the same page (getting Tebow), you're pretty screwed.

Yah I CANNOT BELIEVE that Sanchez is gonna play in this game without a major injury. Poor McElroy and Tebow they are getting screwed here. The whole jets team is a dumpster fire and everyone from tanenbaum and Rex to Sanchez and the rest of the dumpsters should be gone next year, but I have a feeling they won't be lol .

And you texans fans out. In the words of Reggie bush "you got a monster comin in". And I'm sure Welker and Brady arent forgetting 2009 week 17 and the ruination of the pats SB hopes.

In the words of Bart Scott "CAYNT WAIT!!!"
