I have been playing chaos marines for several years now and my forces are fully dedicated to Slaanesh. However, I am not all that fond of either the Emperor's Children or the Flawless Host. I do have a bunch of Noise Marines (which I hope I will actually play in the coming codex other than just the unit champion for the Doom Siren). Regardless, I have always felt my paint scheme was a bit... incomplete. (It is purple with gild trimmings.) I always felt like I had stopped painting them before their paint scheme was really tied together. I have since resolved this over this past weekend. However, because I never had them complete (in my head) they never deserved a name.
So here's the deal, with 6th out and a new Chaos Codex on the horizon, and my paint job finally they way i like it, I feel my warband needs a name. So, I am looking for ideas.
Do you have any homebrew background? That might help

I do not have background for them as of yet because I was mainly focusing on the background for my Vampire Counts for a while, but am mulling some ideas of a background around.
I am currently reworking the paint scheme to something I am MUCH happier with (as mentioned in the OP) when I have a model finished, I will get a picture and post it.
As far as lists go, I have some that I have played in the past but I am kind of hesitant to post a list since it is very likely to change with the potential new codex (hopefully in a month's time)

take a space marine chapter, change change the first part of their names to something to do with slannesh, e.g Desire knights
(grey knights), bliss angles, or angels of bliss (blood angels).

After reading this thread I gone threw some of the combinations myself and a little different one stayed in my head: "The Chosen of Angels".
Imho the names of warbands (For me those are mostly post-heresy-chapters turned traitor) should be ambigous, so that it could be possible that they never changed their name at all, but regardless of this it should be linked to Chaos/the main god and I think the aforementioned does this quite fine.
Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too!
