Wondering Why the Emperor Left

So I have a question about the new boxed set, the website says its a limited edition, but throw description keeps going on about his the chaplain figure is only available for a short time. So does that mean that all 46 minis are one day going to sttop being made, or is there going to be a "standard" edition released soon with all but the chaplain and that one will remain on sale?

To be fair to GW they explicitly state WHAT is limitted edition in the box.

However, this beautiful limited edition includes an exclusive Dark Angels model, Interrogator-Chaplain Seraphicus

Well, I'd like to have the Chaplain too.

Is there a bet how long it will take that the limited starter set will be sold out?

Four weeks?

I'd say at most two weeks, I think Spacehulk and Dreadfleet lasted about that long (maybe a little less iirc)

Well depends on how many I decide to buy - already ordered two as I decided I really wanted to have two chaplains for my BA force.

I think I like the look of the Chaplains / Librarians with the capes / cloaks. Will be removing the DA symbols and the "big wings" from the termies and bikes.

Thanks for pointing out.
So Cultists are troop units. Cheap troops is what CSM was missing in the past (bar Cultists of the Alpha Legion in the 3.5th ed codex, as said above).

I am super juiced about this started set, not only is the price such a great deal for all the minis involved, but they actually look good, not the same all one static pose where my squad of SM looks like statues, lol. I think the Chaos Chosen look amazing, and am glad I pick up some random chaos things not too long ago!!!
I know the down side to these boxes is limited customization, but I really think GW out did themselves on this box. Looking forward to picking up at least two of this box.

Space Hulk sold out within days of its Games Day 2009 launch, Dreadfleet hung around clogging up inventories for about six months (Games Day 2011 - February 2012).

There's probably a causal link between those two statistics and the fact that Space Hulk has won three Origins awards, while Dreadfleet was so bad that Jake Thornton actually called it the worst game GW ever released.

Looking at this new box set makes me want to get back into 40k. 9'er Domestic might not be so nice if I did though. But the models look really awsome. And when I'm having a hankering for just blowing some things up instead of messing around with my warmahordes might be a nice little get away.

Do have both sets the same price or is the limited edition more expensive?
I would expect the latter from GW.

Unknown. It would make sense, but then, it also would have made sense to do a plastic Deffcopta on the AoBR design. AoBR is now out of production, and there's still no plastic Deffcopta based on that design.

Indeed still-shrinkwrapped copies of that must-have £70 limited edition are now going on eBay for £30. While such an unutterably crappy game deserves no better fate, it's a great shame that its failure will probably dissuade GW from further boxed game releases.

They made the error of making a limited release that had no wider application to GW players, the reason that Space Hulk sold so well (the number of original space hulk players was alot less that the number of limited sets) was that it had very well modelled space marines and genestealers that 40k players would want to use in game.
