oh... i am a bit unsure... in the following pics two teams of minis are staring... one of each will be the leader/ess of said team... what would your choice for leaders be? i am open to suggestions...

they´re from I-Kore... or better known under the name V.O.I.D. miniuatures...all of them... different factions tho...

Hard to decide which to paint...

Neato, so I've got my choice... well, chosen I guess. I started this guy a while back and this compy is good impetus to get him finished. Just a bit more GS needed on top of his carapace, but otherwise ready to paint.

I present General Warfield purging a lost soul (who doesn't look too grateful):








The General will be leading my second dakka squad in my Terranwing army. I also re-did the arm-cannon as I really wasn't happy with the first version. This one looks as if it could convert back into an aesome mechanical hand at will. Also the mechanical shoulder was fun to do Much bigger pics in my gallery.

Now to get the beast undercoated

Looking good! the mechanical shoulder is a nice touch! :-) the posing is impressive! you have some pretty mad skills dude! what's the plans for him? any more converting gs work? or is he waiting for the paint brush to caress?

@nerdfest - Thanks The only GS work left is to finish off his top armour to match the other Marines I've done. Hopefully get that done tomorrow night.

@Vik - thanks for giving me such a height to fall from I now need to try and find enough time to paint the sucker

I'm going to use a different camera for the next spread I used an older one for this set, view them in my gallery if you want . Sentinel Squad Leader. It won't stop there either . As you can zoom on the photos in the gallery if you so desire.

I finished him for games day not that he was even a shade on the quality of some of the other entries but I was happy with my models

well the only nitpick i could find are his eyes... other than that... looks very cool!

I agree, the eyes went from pupil less to shocked, awed and staring and then back the other way a couple of times, he eventually ended squarely in the shocked camp.

Nice scarring melcavuk! Psilencers are one-arm for termies, Vik, more finding the right pose that's the prob.

i have started painting the combatants... two teams... six against four...i used mainly washes for the build up of paint coats... hopefully that was a wise decision...

the first team consist completly of female fighters... dressed in tight suits... and with a dashing green and purple combo...WIP :






and secondly... the blue team... consisting of battle robots... also still highly WIP...:






these are not both teamleaders... but they are here to show the basic scheme i will paint the leaders for... some variations of course for their position in their teams

Ok just our of curiosity, does the model in question have to be a Unit leader, or can it be a HQ?

The reason I ask is because I have Nids... which don't have Squad leaders lols

I'm going to say yes you can use a HQ to that one Anunearthlychilde! :-) kinda makes it hard eh! when your force isn't as cool as everyone elses...... ;-)
