Finished my Company Mater from Dark Vengeance last night. Painted him to table top standard to match the rest of the DA my slowly getting through!

As you pointed out this is a table top level model. A very good table top level model however.

Still judging it in respect of the simple level I must say that as an HQ, as a leading model for your army, I would had worked a little more on the cloak.

The whiteish featering on the violet mantle looks really extreme. Even the extreme edges of the green armor pieces/back pack looks flat and would certainly deserve a strong hard lining. It's just so simple..

I'm not telling you to do this on all your table top pieces but at least on the leader.

Otherwise a good result.

Wonderful paintjob. The sword is nicely done too.

The purple is an interesting choice along the cream robes and dark green armour. I think it suits the model in a strange way.
