Have you tried going onto GW's website or ebay and pricing up your models, then comparing it to the price of the ipod?

yeah but im super new this would be my first army, so he didnt specify if there chaos deamons or other things

Sounds like they are chaos space marines with a couple demons thrown in. I would do it as long as he didnt paint them with house paint or some other weird god awful thing. I pod touch isnt worth hardly anything anymore.

Well, using UK prices from the GW store:

6 terminators are ~ £34
32 zerkers are ~£70

The other stuff... maybe £10-15 for the DP. Not sure about the daemons as I don't know what kind they are, but maybe £15? The champs maybe £5 to £10?

So about £130ish if you bought the main bulk straight from GW?

The ipod apparently around £100 according to google shopping.

Could be worth it if they are in good condition and/or came with bits. But you will have to remember that CSM can no longer take daemons as part of their codex (other than DP's as HQ's), so if you want to use the daemons you will need to take them as an allied formation.

I don't know. I'd imagine the ratio would be roughly the same, although I know that Canadian GW prices are higher than American GW prices.

223$ you got robbed! it is 100$ online, I do not think people would do this deal, simply because they could make more money selling the models online, then using that money to buy an itouch.-

Do you have pics of the stuff? Get pics and post them here. If the kits were new, that'd be a good deal. If they're old and used, it depends on how roughly used they are and how much work you'll have do do on them.

I think it's a good deal, it's an older ipod that is a dime a dozen, you're getting the core to a good army that can very easily be competitive.if you're looking to get into the hobby or chaos, then this is a good deal.

again take paint into consideration, overall appearance and age but I'm guessing that the army is a couple of years old.
