So I've reached a bit of a dilemma, I can't decide what to theme my necrons around: Roman, Egyptians, or pirates. I've got the basic fluff and design worked out for each, but I my indecisive mind just won't let me pick one and stick with it. here's a rundown of the pros and cons:

Romans:
Pros:
looks unique, fluff worked out, colors worked out

cons:
conversions are difficult for basic warriors on up, some units need to be shoehorned into the theme, too uniform to make the important ones stand out.

Egyptians
Pros:
easier conversions, not much needs to be shoehorned

cons:
fluff needs to be worked out, not unique enough, colors a bit iffy

Pirates:
Pros:
fun and whimsical, medium difficulty to convert, fluff somewhat worked out

Cons:
may not fit with fluff, colors not worked out yet

tell me what you think, which theme should I go with.

The Necrons are already WHFB Tomb Kings in space. Egyptian seems like the most obvious choice, to me.

I swear I think those two have a hate-crush on each other sometimes.

Pirates would be great! it's not too overdone, and would be hilarious. Aside from that, there are some Necrons "pirates" already so it's fluffy.

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

The opportunities on the ghost arks alone make it a fun idea. +1 for PirateCrons.

I'd go with Egyptians simply to ask people, "Do you like my new Tomb Kings army?"

Pirates and Egyptians sound cool and all, but a field of red square shields just sounds too cool to pass on. I vote Romans.

Roman necrons wont work, well, egyptians is pretty much what necrons ARE (and i saw some badass anubis headed necron conversions), and pirates are overdone.

I recommand that you would rethink and find something new.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.
