What do you think?
And we'll probably have all of this by the end.
Though I was surprised Garro wasn't in book 1, considering how central a figure he was in the Isstvan campaign.

I would like to see the do some thing other than Marines or Guard, they have been about 90% of thier product over the past few years. Some SOB, Arbites, DE, or some 40k mercenaries would be nice. You can only make power armour in so many poses before it gets boring.

Man, I could have sworn I'd seen Sons of Medusa transfers at the very least, but I'm not seeing anything on the site. They should at least do shoulder pads/transfers for each of the Badab War chapters.

Garro was only on orbit of Isstvan 3 on the board of Eisenstein. He didn't fight on the land. I hope FW will introduce Garro little bit later.

I love the new range and what we've recieved so far. The fact that they even created this range means that my wildest dream has come true
Admittidely I'd love it if they upped production and got us stuff sooner but at the end of the day, I want it to be done right and also having these waits between books allows me to digest the first book and create/paint the models from that stage before I move on.

I hear there will be something in the order of 12 books.
Forge World only have a few employees and only have a fairly small production capacity. I imagine that realistically the series will take years and the vast majority of their staff and resources.
What annoys me is that it is utterly, gratuitously expensive to play pre-heresy. Several of my friends have really liked the idea and priced up armies. Realistically only the wealthy and those with lower incomes but no other life will be able to get into this. Mr or Mrs Ordinary with an average job and average bills and family are totally priced out. I earn decent money as does my good lady but I can't begin to afford getting into that game, plastic crack is pricey enough.
I don't know why they have gone down that route, why not do it as a mainstream GW game with plastics? I assume that their market research tells them that there is a big enough market to justify having it done by FW, the profit margin is obviously bigger on FW than on plastics, especially when you take into account the gratuitous postage charges.

My guess is there will be rules for him and his goal of going around to recruit people for Malcador. Maybe he has a special rule where you nominate a model in your army that if he ends the game within 6" of you gain a Victory Point or something.

What do you think?
No. They need more stuff for Elysians. I have a loss in my W/L. Do you know how embarrassing that is? I run flyer spam. That's not supposed to lose.
You heard me, FW.

Isengard - currently they have NO IDEA how many books they will do - they dont even have the content for the 3rd book sorted (ie which major battles) - theyve just started on the 2nd. Theyre hoping to do more than one per year
GW will not do preheresy in plastic. They dont have the fab space (machines are already running high work loads) and the sprue cost would be enormous. FW resin is low initial cost so a mistake doesnt hurt them as much as a bad model does in plastic. You think pre heresy is expeinsive, try fantasy chaos dwarfs - £36 for a beatufiul unit of 10 guys. Oh wait, you need at least 30 of them...and that isnt many points still
