... his use of "your" and "you're" is fine, and I'm guessing he has autocorrect on for "take/thank"

Fair enough, though I was referencing text that I did not quote in regards to "your" and "you're."

a raid conducted by a small squadron of X-wings flying through a trench leading to a split-second opportunity to fire a shot down a two-metre wide exhaust port might manage it...

When I install a force field, it will not have the same problem that yours did.
Dark Pimpostle, please stop promising things before the first tower is even built.
You don't even have a single Straw Golem yet- you're hardly a Lord of anything right now.
(Honestly- a guy gets a sword that makes whirlwinds, and all of a sudden he's a God)
Folks, from a more level head, here's what the Thaumaturgic Accords is probably actually going to offer/be doing.
1: Awesome architecture- this is one thing he's right about. With the cooperation of members, it'll be possible to build structures larger and more complex than is feasible on one's own.
2: Sharing of ingredients- We're probably not going to end up being a full-on Marxist commune, where everybody owns everything- however, membership means you'll at least help other members with their projects- if they need some Air Shards, or Essense of Fractum, you'll be expected to lend a hand if you have any spare.
3: Defense Organization- we'll protect our own- this includes putting together war parties to do things like hunt Ender Dragons, Whithers, Nagas, Lichz, and other nasties. Also, if you do find that you've died in a hostile area, other Accord members are obliged to escort you back to retrieve your stuff, assuming it's survived, or at least provide some basic materials to help get you back on your feet in the case of catastrophy.
4: Facilities- In each of the Lords' Demesnes, there will be full-fledged Thaumaturgic laboratories, Alchemic facilities (when EE3 is out), Enchantment Libraries (with spare Enchanted Books), farms for supplies and food, and possibly even Grinders, open to use by Accord signatories.
There will be some rules, however, if you're going to have a title or full access to the facilities
Rules:
1: No Feats of Engineering or Technical Prowess in any of the towers or fortresses- that's the Red Tower near 0,0, as well as the future 5 Lord's Demesnes. No machinery, no engines, and please take off your Tech armour before entering. Don't use Nanosabers, Mining Lasers, or Jetpacks on Accord grounds. No Pipes, no Cables (possibly decorative, but most likely not). This doesn't forbid things from tech mods like IC or Redpower such as panels or ore blocks, however, which are decorative or inactive. Just no use of tech (wearing armour counts as use). All members (other than Lords, in their specific Thaumaturgic/Alchemic Demesnes) may do whatever they like in their own houses and bases- but public places are Magic Only.
2: Don't Hoard- as it says. If someone needs something, and you have some of it, be willing to give it up, knowing that they'll do the same for you. This is to discourage thievery and encourage an atmosphere of positive learning.
3: Control your Flux- Do NOT let Flux get out of hand. We will NOT be using Flux as a weapon- any instance of Flux getting bad enough that it causes actual issues is BAD, and will be dealt with accordingly- in addition, if anyone not in the Accords is fooling with Thaumcraft and causes Flux issues, the Accord members will be asked to assist in the cleanup. We have Thaumcraft because there is no longer any Taint. Don't let Flux get to a similar point.
4: Don't Attack fellow Accord Signatories- this is, of course, not in effect with mutually agreed upon duels, but in general day-to-day life, don't start nothin', and there won't be nothin'.
All these rules and conditions are of course subject to change, according to the majority opinion. However, the Accord (or Triurgiiiiiiiiii, as DarkApostle/Pimpdidley likes to call it- doesn't make much sense to me) is pretty much just there as an excuse to be all "Hur, Magic's better than Tech" and to build awesome, magic-only structures. If you don't' want to abide by the rules, well, that's alright, but it also means you can't join in. Anyone who wants the title of Lord really needs to uphold these ideals the most of all, if possible.
But yeah- we'll try to keep this as civil as possible, please.

You're welcome. There's a couple bylaws as well, mostly for determining Lordship and other ranks- right now, as we're all pretty much starting clean with Thaumcraft 3 (and will be new to EE3 as well), they're fairly simple. We might eventually have tests/benchmarks for ranks and titles based on what you've researched, but since for the meanwhile none of us even has a fully fledged lab, that's a ways off.
Right now, all you need for a Lordship is to be the first to ask, and to have researched and created your Tool of Office, and learned all the ins and outs of using it. If someone wants to claim a Lordship in the future, they need to do the same, and demonstrate an equal or greater understanding of the Thaumaturgic processes and Alchemical formulae (as well as Potionmaking and Enchanting) as the current Lord; they must also pass an inspection of their workplace, showing that they don't release unnecessary Flux into the world in their area- once this has been determined, there will be a ritual duel for the tile, using the relevant Tool of Office.

Sure- if you were able to prove that you were as or more adept in the Mystic Arts than they were, created your own Tool of Office, and defeated them in a Mage's Duel. I imagine, as an Industrialist, you'd probably pass the "No Flux" condition with flying colors.

Also, Anvil: "1: Awesome architecture- this is one thing he's right about. With the cooperation of members, it'll be possible to build structures larger and more complex than is feasible on one's own. " Im pretty sure Wyrmalla objects to this statement, as does Grundz
