Yeah, these are absolutely awesome.

I will definately be getting some once some EU stores get them in stock. It's just too expensive to buy directly from KM.

Looking good, the weapons on the SWAT team look a bit odd though.

Gathering the Informations.

It looks like they tried to blend the movie guns (MP5s for the most part) with the game guns (G36s for the most part) and resulted in some kind of hideous hodgepodge midpoint.

I guess i know what i need to order for the store when i get back from adepticon. I'm still waiting on last months to arrive though.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

I've not read through any of this, but how does the game work? (probably not the right place to post, either)

I haven't seen any starter sets knocking about, like I have for The Hobbit/Star Wars - X Wing etc

Camouflage is the colour of fear... I have no need to hide from my foes... I have no fear of death. My colours I wear openly, they proclaim louder than any words, "I am proud to live - I am proud to die" :

Its a small skirmish game. 3-10 guys per side on average. There are starter sets for factions like Gordon and swat, Blackgate prisoners, Jokers crew, and Penguins crew right now.

Question, when might the cards for the new stuff be out?

Lobo is not part of the game. He is at a larger scale and just a collectors piece for painting.

He's a 70mm miniature that shouldn't have been included in this thread, is all!

Knight Models should start a new thread for all of their other offerings...

Agreed about both those points. Lobo would be like a nuclear bomb in Gotham! Lol.

I also agree that we should have another thread for the collector/large scale stuff. I missed the 70mm tag the first time I looked too, which is why my post above is edited.

Or maybe change the title of this thread and then make separate posts for the 35mm and 70mm figures?

Al the miniatures look great, but is the casting still as badly as mentioned in almost every forum :-(
I'm really thinking about starting this game but the miniatures are to expensive if the quality is bad...

I've not had a bad casting, but the alloy they use is a pretty rubbish one and really soft - like mid 90's GW lead stage soft.. The details and textures have all come out fine though.

I have never seen bad casting. I own every single of the arkham minis for the game and not one of them was bad. The detail is perfect, paint goes on perfect without priming and nothing came missing or broken.

i haven't got any of the Batman minis yet, but i have both 30mm and 72mm Star Wars minis...
no miscasts anywhere, but a ton of mouldlines...
they take a while to clean up well, but the detail is incredible...
well worth the price...

i am planning on getting a few of the Arkham minis, and a bunch more of the 72mm dudes...
i would not be dropping $70.00 ( or $100 like for the Scout Speeder Bike) on a poorly cast mini...
the large scale stuff is limited to 500 copies, and come in nice collectors tins...
good stuff...

cheers
jah

Paint like ya got a pair!

Available for commissions.

It is as some people just want to gripe. I have a rule for my business and i i wouldn't buy it for myself then i won't ask my customers to buy it from me. They are great and on level with infinity in my opinion.

Awesome sculpt, for sure.

Wish they would stop focusing on the movie designs though. They are not nearly as strong as the video game designs.

They should release Marvel in 32 mm. That would be totally epic.

They usually do both though, so I'd expect a Video Game version of him soon...ish!

Plus a different stat card for each, making it even better.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.
