British engineers have released a bionic hand they claim can be manufactured at roughly half the cost of comparative electronic hands. A married father of two is one of the first to try it out.
Don't these people watch movies or read books? The T-800's are just around the corner now.
Seriously though, it looks like these British engineers have made some great headway into a more functional and affordable (relatively) prosthetic that will be a boon to those who could use it. Good on them.

Luke was supposed to be a whiner early in the movie; at that point he is just a kid wanting to go hang out with his friends. It gives him room to develop so that by the time we get to RotJ we see an almost completely different person.
