Subject: My idea for a Warhammer 40k version of Avatar(James Cameron)

I've been thinking of a way to remake the last battle in James Cameron's Avatar using 40k vehicles. This is what I had in mind
For the forces of the RDA, I thought about an Ordo Xenos(with a large Deathwatch and Imperial Guard retinue) and Adeptus Mechanicus strike force where they want to mine the planet; in the place of the traitorous Avatars, perhaps radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitors that want to study Eywa and apply concepts learned from it for research.
In the place of the RDA Valkyrie(that huge shuttle that carried the bombs), I believe there should be a Deathwatch Thunderhawk(with Naval armsmen deploying the bomb and with Guardsmen in sandbags riding on top of the hull) while in the place of the Dragon(that huge gunship), maybe a Deathwatch Stormraven(with the Chapterhouse studios conversion kit).
In the place of the Samson and Scorpions, there should be Valkyries, Vendettas and Vulture gunships.
For the Ground forces, a joint task force of Imperial Guardsmen(Cadians, Catachans and Elysians) alongside Deathwatch Space Marines.
What do you guys think of the battle? I plan to have an apoc battle based on Avatar sometime in the future.

I don't see where space marines fit into this. There were no supersoldiers in Avatar.

Well obviously because the movie was amazing and the sequels will be equally so.

Don't think it works.
Avatar's story is driven by the profits vs. 'respect for native culture' conflict.
In 40K, the only race with something akin to capitalism are the Tau whose Water Caste are described as (expansionist) Traders and the only ones who could feel remorse over destroying the "natives" may or may not be the Eldar.
So the central pivot of the story is a non-issue for most of 40K, especially the IoM.

I'll humour you, nonetheless.
Instead of the Na'vi, how about Exodite Eldar? Eywa could be the Exodite World's Infinity Circuit. We could also have some guys from Biel'tan show up for good measure...

Perhaps you missed the main character...
You know the soldier who was put into a giant cat-man body with unbreakable bones, super strength, the ability to bond his mind with other life forms and control them.
Nothing super about that soldier.

Avatar wouldn't work for 40k, since the Imperium's first contact protocol is flamers, not 'try to talk to them by jacking into hybrid bodies'. The blue people would have died years before the events of the movie

If the Inquisitor OP is talking about is radical enough, it could be plausible.
If it is a Rogue Trader, it's entirely possible.

It made 2.7 Billion dollars, and won 71 awards. 83% rating on rotten tomatoes.
It's cool if you don't like it, but if you think it's a bad movie, well...either you're wrong, or you know something the rest of the world (and the majority of film industry experts) doesn't.

Well not all moves have the level of CGI that Avatar had.

You missed the point my friend. You claimed there were no "super soldiers" in Avatar.
I simply pointed out that there was infact a "soldier" who was "super" when compared to other humans like him in the film.
Well except Weaver. She got a super cat body too.
It's alright buddy. Some people have a hard time understanding my thought process.

No. Impressive, and above average strength/durability compared to humans, maybe, but super-soldiers, Na'vi are not.
That's like saying orcs are supersoldiers because they're stronger and more durable than guardsmen.
Just no.
Alien Race =/= supersoldier.
But you know, if you think the Na'vi are super, then more power to you. I'm sure they'd be tickled to hear such a thing.
