go purifiers (cheapness and still killy)
Paladins are good unless people go hammernators which they do now, hammernators smack around paladins like there is no tomorrow.

Paladins were never a great competitive list because they struggled with objective missions. And now in 6th that weakness is even more pronounced.
Plus they can't kill terminators like they used to anymore.

Paladins really only win at being a small army that you can fit into one case that migth have a chance of winning against some armies. You will have some fun if you take them to a tourney but you wont win.

And most of the time if a Paladin list won it was because the opponent did something stupid, like try and kill the Paladins in melee.

Neither. I refuse. I'm going to stick with my Strike/Interceptor/Terminator list and there's not a thing you muchkins can do about it.
*pause*
All right, got that out of my system. Purifiers are likely the better choice, running MSU gives you versatility (being able to fit them into your Razorback if you take one means that you can move a lot faster, splitting the unit forces the enemy to split their fire and you don't lose any guns while getting to shoot at more things); Paladins are grossly overpriced and with 10-man Purifier squads you're entirely too vulnerable to artillery.

crowe as a solo HQ is a pretty bad idea now a days. You want to save that "slay the warlord" point for something else. coteaz is fine as a choice.

People said MSU was dead just like vehicles were dead. It's not true. MSU is stronger than ever, and is definitely the way to go, with as many Razorbacks with psybolt ammunition as you own.
If you're worried about first blood or whatever, don't even bother. MSU has no effect on first blood, really. It's whoever goes first.

Yes it is easier to kill vehicles in 6th edition with the hullpoints. However, the fact that clansing hits make them "only loose 1 hull point" along with the fact that you can still snappfire while stunned means that MSU is not so dead. Vehicles are easier til kill, but until it is dead it packs a bigger punch.

Jesus Christ, are you both 12?
Anyway, Paladerps and Purifiers both suck. Paladins are crazy expensive, small in numbers and are easy to instakill with S8+. Purifiers look good on paper as effective in CC and shooting, but in reality you'll only be doing one of those a turn and you spend a lot for each model with the same durability as a 13 point chaos marine.
Take Strikes. They're cheap, shoot as well as anything and leave you a lot of points for other units or allies to better round out your army.

Purifiers don't suck. They are a steal for their points.
yes, you are only as durable as a 13 point chaos marine. But that is what balances them. Otherwise they would be OP.
