Agreed! Can I ask how you did the semi-transparent red on the canopies? I want something similar on my Stormraven except green. I was planning to dip them in a mix of gloss varnish and ink but have never done it before so would appreciate any tips!

LutherMax: tamiya clear paints is the key to this effect.
Paint it on the inside of the canopy.

Thanks for the tip about Tamiya Clear - I have red but will have to pick up a green for my Stormraven. Do you thin it much and does it need multiple coats?

Just whatever you like thin if you want less and thick if you want a dark color.
But when you want to add another layers make sure its dry else you drag the paint around and this will be visible.

I love your take on Alpha Legion. The teal is gorgeous. Not that I have any room for critique, but maybe a minor highlight on the beautiful metallics on the front, just to give it some more pop?

But an edge highlights make it less realistic and with all the rust and silver trims i'm afraid it will be to much.

I love the Fire Raptor! Absolutely stunning, I especially liek the cockpit glass. How is it colored? A thin wash? Gloss? How about the Alpha legion markings? Are those all free hand or are they transfers? I love this ship! Nice work!
