Finished my EC Captain today:

That Captain looks awesome. I love the idea of using a shield and your fist to get the job done.

Im pretty heppy with him myself only thing i did wrong is one of the decorations on the shield but not planning on changing it to much work

Yep it is a meltabomb from the 40k Basing kit

The freehand on the shield looks pretty cool, no need to work on it anymore!

The second Cataphractii looks fantastic. Love the OSL on the Thunderhammer. My one gripe is that I'm not sure, as a Pre-Heresy model, he should have a Crux Terminatus. I was under the assumption that they were only given out after the Heresy had occurred. I could be wrong, though.

I thought the purple and metallics where ace but with the OSL effects, especially on the twin lightning claws it all just leapfrogged into another league!

Love your paintjob main. Looks really slick, and the purple type of colour makes a really interesting and dark colour scheme.

Very well painted models and i can see you put alot of effort into them, really cant wait to see more!

And while you are making Alph's shields I would greatly appreciate a tutorial on how you paint that amazing purple! The flat surfaces on the drop pod really showcase how great your highlighting and blending is.
