No. It's just a stupid timer because it runs off your computers clock.

Go to your computer settings. Change the time and/or date and check the timer again. If you, say, change your computer's date to the 21st, you'll have the timer back showing 47 hours.

Presumably the KS will start at midnight of the time-zone that Kingdom Death has their computer set to (New York I believe).

Hmm. A chess-like board game wasn't what I was expecting. And here I was hoping it would be my first foray into kickstarting.

There are 100 black Friday specials for $85 rather than $100 but man that $45 international shipping is steep I actually wouldn't back it if I hadn't got the black Friday special to offset some of the postage.

You know, whatever else you can say about Adam Poots, the man has got some serious graphic design chops: this may be the best laid-out kickstarter I have ever seen in terms of making it clear what is in which level.

I've grabbed a black Friday Game pledge, but wondering if the 2 KS exclusive minis are worth upping it...

Eh, I can always do that later, gotta hold my place in line!

In for the special...already pining for the limited edition models though. I'm still recovering from the savage testicular beating that is that shipping charge.

Is there a proper photo of what models you get? $55 for two models is ludicrous, but I'd at least like to have a look.

well considering the standard cost of a kingdom death limited edition and general release resin miniature is in the range of 20 to 30 $US normally .... then there is really nothing ludicrous about it at all .

Also in at the Black Friday special price, and hoping the KS LE models will be available as additional purchases in this KS eventually?

And yes - better pictures of the miniatures would be appreciated too!

*shrug* I guess this is the first time Kingdom Death has actually continued selling a product long enough for me to notice how much it would cost.

I asked Poots a question about that: it seems rather odd that the KS exclusives are at $155, as that level seems to offer a markedly less value then other levels (the tee shirt is apparently valued at $35? That's... a bit much).

Continuing on the thought I had above, it's rather odd... am I imagining things, or would it be a much better value to grab the black Friday Game ($85) and use a second account to buy the $70 resin explorer set?

I've upped my pledge to the deluxe set at $250 as I think there may be more to it by the end but I also have an $85 pledge held on my second account just in case so that covers me either way.

Re shipping $45 is actually about right I know Zombicide cost CMON $52 to ship to me still stings as bit but I understand it plus the black Friday deal covers my shipping fee.

Ok, is this the fastest mini related KS out of the gate yet??

It is moving quickly!

Looking at the tiny pictures, there don't seem to be many actual monsters in the game?

Stretch goals/add ons to come?

This one does have boobies, after all. Judging from the art and LE resin, possibly even naked boobies at that. Hence $30k in less than an hour.

Jokes aside, they look like really nice miniatures, though I echo H.B.M.C.'s confusion about random hands coming out of everything.

Holy gak, it just keeps going up...this is going to get funded in less than two hours.

Perhaps one day they will make a skirmish game out of it. Have a feeling most people are not buying the game for the rules, but for the minis.

that said, with co-op games being huge in my area, I went in.

best case scenario, I have a fun game.

Worse case scenario, I can vulture someone on ebay.

Wasn't planning on going in on this, but fixed a lot of snow blowers on the side the past month.

Not really feeling it here. Though I certainly understand that there are a lot of preexisting fans of the artist, I don't see the value for myself, particularly with the expensive shipping and a year's lead time.

A $20k stretch goal right off the bat is pretty ambitious. This will be an entertaining one to watch.

Adam has added a second lot of black Friday specials for $86 limited to 100.

Now about $4k from the first stretch goal.

Ah well I just can't afford it,

at least at the level I would want to be at....

and the understandable but expensive postage finishes for me (sob)

oh well, i hope it does well (& the actual game is good)

In the email sent for pledging, they said that there would be options for the Adam and Anna models. Am I just missing something, or are they just not added yet?

EDIT: The first goal is already reached! Can't wait to see what the next one is. I'd personally like to see more armour and monsters, although some of the magnificent single-pose models would also be fantastic.

Just add $30 to your pledge total to buy them there is no separate option for them when you get your survey after the KS ends you can specify what the $30 is for then.

Am in, though at $295 I won't be going for the resins :( Looks like the $155 is the default level for this kickstarter or $200 for those of us outside the us...

"This is outstanding! We have already reached 60k and its only been 3 and a half hours! My mind is blown. Let's celebrate with a stretch goal and the introduction of our first pinup, the Rawhide Dame. A totally optional miniature to collect or use as an alternate in the game or to just collect, not required for gameplay just for fun.

If we hit 80k, Anyone eligible for the survivor or deluxe survivor level will get double the rawhide armor kits. Making a total of 8 miniatures or adding to the pool of parts to customize your survivors.

To help us along the way, The Rawhide Dame is available in plastic for +$15, or as a resin collectors edition for +$25, simply increase your pledge level and when the campaign is over we will sort everything out."
