Thanks – Ah I see so into the optional purchases already - I assume people are complaining that this adds nothing to the game for their pledge money and that they are being nickeled and dimed already!

Can't beat CMON kickstarter campaigns imho

I really hope the KD kickstarter will also add "free" miniatures to the stretch goals instead of optional miniatures you have to pay for.

Well at 80K you will be able to add new figure in plastic (15) or resin (25)

but

the 155+ levels will get the bits to make 4 more plastic minis (rawhide armour versions) too

so it seems fair enough (says the man who can't afford to buy in)

$45 shipping is soooo damn steep. I almost bought in the $85 package but it sold out so fast and I am weary of the shipping. $500 something of Sedition Wars shipped for that lol

+$15 to +$25 for add on miniatures seems to be pushing the limit/testing the market a bit.

Hopefully the miniatures themselves are interesting/well done enough, and hopefully future stretch goals will be too.

I'm wavering already...

Well, $25 is what they sell the resin minis for on his website. There seems to be no "Kickstarter-discount", but neither are they more expensive.

But yeah, right now it feels like the US$ 155,- pledge with stretch goals is the (only) one for Kickstarter-savings. The lower miniature-only pledges seem identical to his website prices (though they are different minis) and the game - at least for a non-US guy like me - is likely going to be cheaper Christmas 2013 off some e-tailer without the $ 45,- shipping and import taxes.

Even more so if I put those US$ 100,- into some interest-earning account till than.

Hmmm so it seems the $155 level is the place to be for the stretch goals (that’s $200 for me with shipping) I thought the $85 level seemed to good to be true (currently pledged at $160 - $85 plus $45 shipping plus $30 for the ltd. plastic Adam and Anna). I’ll have to give this some consideration later I have plenty in the budget for this game but I don’t want to give up a Black Friday special deal until I’m sure the $155 level is the better option – I am basing everything off what I’m reading here at the moment as I can’t access the KS until I get home tonight.

The $45 postage is steep but having seen that my Zombicide game cost $52 to ship I know that at least in my case the shipping rate is about right and Adam has said he’s going to try and see what he can do about it I’d agree that Canadians in particular are getting a raw deal on the single shipping rate to all non US destinations.

I am in for the $129 Black Friday special (Survivor). Extra Phoenix and 4 extra armored survivors already.

This will be my first KS of the new year! Since money won't come out till then and keeps my pledge of no new KS in 2012... barely

What the ... there was no Survivor special for $129 when I backed first thing this morning - I've just checked my tablet as it's not been connected to the interenet since I left home and this was not an option then. I'd have definitely backed Survivor at that price I'm actually some what annoyed now that this was added after the fact.

Same here.

That's more than a little annoying.

I was on the fence about staying in at $85.

Unless this gets real good, I don't think I'll be hanging on to it.

Broke 100K in less than 9 hours!

Alph and DaveC- Bummer, maybe he'll add a copy of it (he did with all the other Black Friday specials when they ran out).

Also I jumped the gun- extra Phoenix for Survivor and above hits at 105K (imminently!).

There is round two for 130 up now. Some 80 or so left.

RiTides- thanks for the update - I'm in at $130 now.

This one should be quite the ride, and clearly will be challenging Sedition Wars for #2 and, dare I say, Reaper for #1?!?

At this pace, who knows!

Will be interesting to see how they planned it. 45 days is a long way to keep the tension and excitement. I am quite surprised they didn't do just 30 days and enjoy their holidays with the million + in the bag.

Thanks RiTides I ran around to the local coffee shop with my tablet and used their Wifi to change my pledge to the $130 Survivor level.

Sweet DaveC I have a mental picture now!

I think it's smart to end it after the holidays. I couldn't be in otherwise! Makes a good present, use money gifts towards it, etc etc

Glad you got in, too Alph! I pledged from my phone at my relatives' place.

This isn't shipping for a year!!!

The minis look great, but it's going to take a lot more to wrench money out of my hand. I'd also like to see more pictures of the individual minis.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)
Adepticon 2011- Combat Patrol Best General

Makes sense. Still. Reaper was "only" 30 days and Sedition Wars was something like 35.

Imagine either having to string it along another two weeks or so

They would have hit a holiday lull anyway, might as well build that in to the run time.

A one year delivery time seems reassuringly realistic.

I don't think CMON is involved in this incidentally.

Don't know how I overlooked that bit of info, but I did.

Ouch!

November 2013 seems a long ways away!

Yeah, me too.

We really do need some better shots of these miniatures...

There should be a link on the first page or at least directions on the subject line IMO...

The main box now includes an extra armour set. I'll be interested to see where the "wall" is in the boxed game and how this affects stretch goals

My energy drink has run dry, the sun is beating down on my face but I am happy. My fragile mind has been blow apart thanks to you guys and the only way I can think to thank you is by setting the next goal to upgrade the game box itself!

If we hit 140k, we will upgrade the game box with the Lantern Armor kit. The kit can create 4 miniatures and is interchangeable with all the former armor kits. The lantern armor kit represents the survivors first crude foray into metal working, in their world devoid of most natural resources the mysterious lantern hoard the cling to for light also provides a bit of scrap for them to learn from.

This will bring the core boxed game up to 6 armor kits! However, I want to make this clear that there is a financial wall I cannot pass when it comes to upgrading the core box. I want to add as much as possible but I also need to be responsible. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

To help us reach this goal, I have lined up one of our most requested miniature for the plastic que! Beyond the Wall is a diorama piece and will not feature any game rules, however for +$15 she can be added to your rewards for collecting, painting and / or converting. For +$27 an unnumbered resin encore version including everything in the photo below can be added to your rewards.

Do you mean no new pictures and info? Because the first stretch goal added to the base game, as does the next stretch.

I think people have weird expectations for a KS that's less than half a day old.

That package is away and there's a 3rd one at $131, which I'm in (which was *painful*) as I can see this taking off in a big way

At the rate they are adding new items, I'm wondering how quickly they are going to run out of bits to add... We've already passed three stretch goals and are half way to the fourth in 12 hours!

I`m curious how far he`s prepared as well. I`d imagine that selling KD minis the way he has up until know has given him a good sense of the popularity of the range.

Those stretch goals were lame to be fair.... I mean, a couple more naked adventurers and and armored kit? The extra phoenix doesn't count for me... that was a bit lame.

So there is a 131$ pledge available now for the goals. I am in.

No, spraying three colors on your minis does not count as painted! 5k+

By his profile, he's also backed some 20+ projects himself, including DreadBall, Sedition War, Relic Knights and some smaller ones such as Red Box and Assimilation Alien Host.

He should have a fair sense of how these things go down.

Only 20 of the $131 Survivors left.

Is CMON involved (seemingly not) or if not, who? He mentions a partner experienced with this, I can't find where atm.
